A Round Robin is a combination of parlays, that allows you the flexibility of deciding what parlays that you want in your Round Robin and how much the parlays will be for. It is a conservative way of making parlay bets, because you will always get some money back, if you do it all ways, 2's, 3's, 4's, 5's, 6, and at least 2 out of 6 teams win. If you do a 6 team parlay and 1 team loses, the entire parlay loses. My Round Robin at $10 away, all ways, consisted of 57 $10 parlays, for a ticket cost of $570. It paid $5530, which consisted of my $570 bet and $4960 in winnings. It's a smart bettors way of making money, if you are consistently, like me, picking Winners and the type of bet, that books, won't spend much time talking to you about. They want you to continue making 6 team straight parlay bets, winning 5 games, losing 1 game and losing all your money, but telling all your friends, I won 5 out of six!! The question I normally ask that guy, is, did you bet each one of your games separately, in addition to the parlay? We all know the answer to that question, NO, well then, you lost all 6 games, fool!! It's all about smarts versus risk. If I had placed a 6 team parlay, yesterday for $570, and they all Won, which they did, I would have Won close to $24,000, if one game lost, I would have lost $570. Never certain that all the games will Win, so the conservative Round Robin and $5530 in Winnings is a smarter way to go. With that said, I also made a $100 straight parlay on the 6 teams and Won $4000, but looked at it as a lottery ticket. This past Thursday, I did a 6 team Round Robin, $570, 5 teams Won and I got back $1870, for a net of $1300. As you can see, with just one more team winning, it paid an additional $4000. How sweet it is!!
