Bettors loving SEC teams in early bowl betting

Dec 5, 2012 |
It's no secret that once again the SEC is the dominant conference in the land. Two teams from the SEC are going bowling BCS style and seven of the eight SEC schools are playing in bowl games kicking off on New Year's Day or later.

And much to the surprise of nobody, all eight schools are favored in their games.

Bettors are backing the SEC with their dollars so far and lines are on the move. It's early, but there is only one team from the SEC that bettors haven't jumped on: Florida. The Gators moved down from 15-point favorites in the Sugar Bowl against Louisville. All other squads from that conference have seen their odds rise.
