Some sportsbooks in Las Vegas and online were dealing the Green Bay Packers as high as 10.5-point favorites hosting the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10 of the NFL season.

Bettors are hard pressed to find that spread after Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers left Monday’s game against the Chicago Bears with a shoulder injury. Sportsbook that did have the Week 10 line up have no taken the Philadelphia-Green Bay game off the board and reopened with the Packers as low as 1-point home chalk hosting the Eagles.

Rodgers lasted only a few snaps before coming down hard on his non-throwing shoulder (left) while be sacked by Bears defensive end Shea McClellin on the opening series of the game. Backup QB Seneca Wallace took over under center and Green Bay lost 27-20 as a 10-point home favorite Monday.

According to Michael Stewart, an oddsmaker with CarbonSports.ag, Rodgers is worth at least seven points to the spread, tied with Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning as the most valuable NFL players to the pointspread. Stewart said that if Rodgers was back under center in Week 10, the Packers would be around -9. Sportsbooks offering the game for wagering are dealing Green Bay between -1 and -2.5.

ESPN is reporting that Rodgers suffered a small fracture in his collarbone and could miss as many as three weeks. However, the team has not made any official announcement on his status until further testing is done, according to a team source.

The LVH Superbook in Las Vegas dropped the Packers from 10/1 to 15/1 to win the Super Bowl following Monday’s game. The futures odds on the NFC North have been taken off the board and all "Game of the Year" spreads involving Green Bay are not available for betting as of Tuesday morning. The Packers were -400 favorites to win the NFC North heading into Week 9.

Peter Korner, founded of the Nevada-based odds service The Sports Club, originally sent out a suggested line of Green Bay -9 with the total at 55 points. Some Nevada books opened the over/under at 54 points before taking it off the board.
