Baron Davis, The Game make $50,000 bet in summer league game

Fresh off of being abducted by aliens, former NBA star Baron Davis is making grandiose wagers with gangster rappers in summer league basketball.

Davis' "LAUNFD" team goes up against rapper The Game's "Money Gang" squad Sunday in Los Angeles' renowned Drew League summer basketball circuit. "Money Gang' features Paul George of the Indiana Pacers and DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors, for example.

Via Twitter, The Game claimed that the former pro point guard called him and wanted to place a $50,000 wager on the game and the rapper politely obliged.

According to Larry Brown Sports, Baron Davis is expected to recruit a pair of ringers for the matchup:

UPDATE: The Game's "Money Gang" squad were victorious 92-90. Metta World Peace tallied 29 points, 13 boards and 2 blocks.
