CNBC to premier sports betting television series in Sept.

CNBC has ordered a series based on the world of sports betting which will premiere on Sept. 10, according to BroadcastingCable.com.

The series will be called 'Money Talks' and it will air at 10 p.m. ET.

According to Andrea Morabito of BroadcastingCable.com:



Jim Ackerman, a senior VP at CNBC was quoted as saying, "It's a world that hasn't been explored in primetime and we're confident that our viewers will be fascinated by this intimate look at high stakes gambling."

well, that's great. but considering that sports betting is illegal in most of the country, cnbc, espn and others need to start advocating for legalization.
