Heat's Wade has knee treated, status day-to-day

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade's status is up in the air ahead of Game 4 in Milwaukee Sunday.

Wade's knee is still sore and ESPN hreported he would receive treatment for it on Friday. His status is day-to-day.

"Structurally, his knee is as good as it's been in years. That's why we're treating it day to day," Spoelstra told ESPN. "This was a bone bruise. What it needs is time and it gets better. But what it also needs is no collisions."

Wade said he would undergo "a couple of hours" of treatment on Friday and then Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra would base his decision about Wade's Game 4 status around how he felt as a result.

The nine-year veteran has played 100 minutes total in the first three games and is coming off of a 1-for-12 shooting performance in Game 3.

Miami leads the best-of-seven series 3-0 and is an 8.5-point favorite Sunday to complete the series sweep and eliminate the Bucks from the playoffs.
