Tiger's Bay Hill win boosts Masters odds

Tiger Woods collected his 77th career PGA Tour win and third in five starts this season after shooting a final-round two-under 70 at Bay Hill Monday to move into the top spot in the World Golf Rankings.

Tiger’s resurgence has prompted LVH oddsmaker Jeff Sherman to reconsider his Masters odds.

“I adjusted him to 3/1 yesterday (Sunday) in anticipation of his win today,” Sherman told Covers. “He was 4/1 prior to Bay Hill.”

Bettors had a chance to grab Tiger at 6/1 last summer when he was listed as a co-favorite at Augusta with Rory McIlroy.

The challenge for Tiger now will be to end his five-year drought in the majors. Woods has been stuck at 14 major titles since winning the U.S. Open in 2008 and the Masters, which he has won four times, begins April 11. Tiger last won at Augusta way back in 2005.

Here are the updated Masters odds courtesy of the LVH:
