Plane troubles delay Blues' travels, faves vs. Sharks

The St. Louis Blues won’t have much downtime before playing the San Jose Sharks at home Tuesday.

The team was grounded in Vancouver following a 4-3 shootout victory over the Canucks Sunday due to problems with their team plane and arrived back home early Tuesday morning after a 15-hour delay. The Blues stayed overnight Sunday and were scheduled to be back in St. Louis around 4 p.m. Monday but didn’t leave Vancouver until 1:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

St. Louis has won three straight games and owns a 3-3-0-1 record at home this season. Following Tuesday’s game, the Blues are back on the road to face Colorado Wednesday.

Oddsmakers opened St. Louis as a -163 home favorite but it has since been bet down to -122. The total is set at 5.5 goals.
