CREIGHTON at NEBRASKA (+7)
No. 16 Creighton, which rebounded nicely from its first defeat of the season, makes the short trip to visit in-state rival Nebraska on Thursday night. The Blue Jays won their first six games before being handed a 13-point home loss by Boise State on Nov. 28. Three days later, Creighton rolled to an 80-51 home victory over St. Joseph's as Doug McDermott scored 18 of his 23 points in the first half.
Nebraska is off to its best start in four years. The Cornhuskers have won two straight after a 14-point loss to Kent State on Nov. 24. Ray Gallegos, the second-leading scorer, hit a career-high six 3-pointers in Monday's win over USC.
