New York Knicks at Memphis Grizzlies (-5.5, 192.5)
One night after taking down the top team in the Western Conference, the New York Knicks attempt to do the same against another top club from the Southwest Division when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. These two teams combine for a record of 12-1 SU and ATS to start the season.
New York remained the only unbeaten team in the NBA on Thursday as it overcame a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to post its sixth straight win, a 104-100 victory in San Antonio. The Knicks, who had lost nine consecutive road meetings with the Spurs, ended the contest with a 27-11 run.
The setback by San Antonio made Memphis the only team in the West with just one loss. After dropping their season opener to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Grizzlies have reeled off six consecutive victories, including a 107-97 triumph in Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Memphis took a 44-41 lead on a 3-pointer by Quincy Pondexter with 3:45 remaining in the second quarter and did not trail thereafter.TV:
