Pick 'n' roll: Monday's best NBA bets

Los Angeles Clippers at Memphis Grizzlies (-4, 186)

Two of the Western Conference’s hottest teams square off when the Los Angeles Clippers visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.

Memphis has won seven of nine games since losing to the Clippers on March 24 after downing the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

Rudy Gay dropped 25 points and Gilbert Arenas added 14 points in 17 minutes. The controversial veteran who didn’t have a NBA job until signing with the Grizzlies last month is averaging 11.0 points over the last four games while knocking down 10 of 15 3-point shots.

“It has been great because these guys have accepted me,” Arenas said. “I realized how much I really missed the game while I was gone.”

The Grizz have covered in six of their last nine and will be looking to avenge the beating the Clippers gave them late last month.

Pick: Grizzlies

Phoenix Suns at Minnesota Timberwolves (2, 209.5)

Spirits are high in the Phoenix locker room after the Suns downed the Lakers Saturday, marking their fourth win in the last five games.

"Tonight was great, to get a win and bounce back, mentally more than anything, to fight back," Michael Redd told reporters after scoring 23 points in the 125-105 win over the Kobe-less Lakers. "We played well this week, so we've got another tough week in front of us and hopefully we can do the same thing."

They should be able to keep it going against a Minnesota club that’s sinking despite Kevin Love’s stellar play. The Timberwolves have dropped seven straight against the number and six of those games outright.

Love put up another 29 points and 12 rebounds Saturday in New Orleans but Minnesota still fell 99-90 as a 3-point road favorite.

Phoenix will be riding high after the big win over L.A.

Pick: Suns

utah's worth a wager, though i've already got the might pistons. what does 15, 19, 16, and 23 have in common? that amount of points michael redd has scored coming off the bench in the past four games. he's the biggest winner in grant hill going down and shannon brown taking his talent to the starting lineup. redd sees a significant uptick in this roll. phoenix money line to take down the ridnour-less out of the playoff six game losing streak t-wolves.

OKC -2,5 Big play! Better offense and better defense than Bucks! Bucks are 7-3 last 10, but won only Hawks team over 0.500, other wins were vs Bobcats 2X, Cavs 2X, Portland and Wizards. And OKC is a top 3 NBA team!

i've hit a few in a row. so i'm nervous. waited all day. had a bunch of leans. then a game came cleared based on injury. no dwight howard. detroit, though five games in seven days, getting way too many points. no injuries. no one played over 28 minutes in miami. orlando is a shell of a team without dwight. detroit played well and covered at atlanta in last b2b. and the line is hardly affected. 7.5 points. up to 10.5. i would hardly be shocked if detroit wins outright. is howard hurt or did he make a statement that he can do 20 and 20 whenver he wants. DETROIT BASKETBALL!

Looks like Spurs might be sitting Duncan, Parker and Ginobli...I recall SA doing this against Portland this year and Spurs were ran out of the building. Could this be same scenario, different team...I'll take a stab at Utah PK....GL
