Bricker went 0-1 with his Day 8 picks -- two matches were not completed due to bad light -- and he's 12-9 overall, down 2.78 units.
I'll go with just two matches today because the rest of the singles don't look competitive enough.
No. 4 Andy Murray (-200) vs. No. 20 Richard Gasquet (+140)
I don't care about the ranking differential. This is a very tight match between two men who went five sets at the 2010 French, with Murray coming from two sets down to win. The head to head is 3-3 with the Frenchman winning a three-setter a couple weeks ago on clay at Rome. Murray looked over his lingering minor injury and was very strong in storming through Santiago Giraldo two days ago.
No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic (+160) vs. No. 13 Nicolas Almagro (-233)
Hard to believe that these two, aged 26 and 27, have never played. Nico has won seven straight going back to his title at Nice, and nine of his last 10. Neither he nor Janko has been seriously challenged at the French. Almagro is no longer the slightly loose cannon he used to be, over-hitting in the wrong situations, and he can smell a return to the Top 10. Tipsarevic is smart, very competitive and having his best year.
