Whether you love it or hate it - the World Baseball Classic is back for another run prior to the 2017 Major League Baseball season. The world's best ball players (or most of them, at least) will divide into their countries of origin for the fourth installment of this "World Cup of Baseball".

Odds to win are out early as rosters are still being sorted out, but the early release from Westgate LV Superbook has the Dominican Republic posted as 5/2 favorites followed by the United States and Japan at 3/1.

Japan won the event in 2006 and 2009 with the Dominican Republic taking the down the world title back in 2013. The United States has never finished higher than fourth (2009) and most critics believe the event will never become a success until it's won by the Americans.

The championship game will take place on March 22, 2017 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
