With the US Presidential Election taking place this fall, incumbent president Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump have agreed to a pair of debates in June and September. There's no doubt that this election will have the circus feel of the previous cycle, which should mean plenty of barbs exchanged between the two men.

There will be plenty of interest in betting US Presidential Election odds, and books have even put up odds for the first debate on June 27. If you feel like putting a few dollars down on what should be an entertaining screaming match (I mean debate) between two candidates known for their argumentative personalities and verbal flubs, check out your options below...

US Presidential Debate specials

Scenario Odds
Biden to say "shut up" to Trump -120
Trump to have at least one monologue lasting over 5 minutes  -110
Trump to use a pejorative/slur against a demographic in their first 10 minutes +500
Biden to fall asleep at the podium +10,000

As hilarious (and sad) as it would be to see the 81-year-old Biden fall asleep in the middle of the debate, it simply isn't happening. Likewise, while Trump's track record on minorities is far from perfect, it's extremely improbable that he's going to drop a slur on live television — especially within the first 10 minutes.

Part of the reason Donald Trump's presidential odds are so high is due to his ability to captivate a crowd with his fiery rhetoric. That said, it doesn't seem likely that he'll have a monologue that goes more than five minutes in a debate setting.

Even somebody who goes on rants like Trump would have a tough time saying more than 600 words in a row before being interrupted by his opponent or a moderator. Plus, with this debate taking place at CNN studios in Atlanta, the moderator will be less likely to let Trump ramble on.

That leaves Biden to say "shut up" as the most likely option, and with that paying out at a pick'em price, it's worth betting. It's no secret that these two like to wind each other up, and we also know that Biden said "Will you shut up, man?" at a 2020 debate when Trump interrupted him.

While that might not seem presidential, it actually made for a good sound bite last time around and helped Joe Biden's presidential odds, so don't rule him out from saying it again.

Best bet: Biden to say "shut up" to Trump (-120)

US Presidential Debate winner odds

Scenario Odds
Joe Biden -125
Donald Trump -105

There are plenty of criticisms of Biden centered on his age and competency, especially given some of the gaffes he has displayed over the last four years. That said, Trump is no stranger to verbal blunders himself, and he was unwilling to debate his GOP rivals last year.

Sure, Trump had little to gain from debating since he was polling so far ahead of them, but the fact that he wasn't willing to take the risk also indicates that he knew there was a strong chance he could have been outgunned.

The debate taking place at CNN will almost feel like a home-field advantage for Biden and the lack of a live audience should also play better for him. Trump thrives in front of a crowd and feeds off the energy from his supporters, and he might not be able to build momentum playing to an empty house.

Pick: Biden (-125)

Trump "stolen" or "rigged" odds

Number of times Trump says "stolen" or "rigged" Odds
Over 9.5 -110
Under 9.5 -120

Trump will almost certainly say "stolen" or "rigged" at some point in this debate, but will he say it 10+ times? I'm not so sure. Those words have been best utilized to rile up his base who won't be in attendance, and those slogans won't have as much sticking power if a moderator checks him on them.

Keep in mind that while Trump has remained adamant that the previous election was rigged, no proof has ever been provided, and many of the false claims have been debunked.

If Trump continues to harp on election conspiracies in this setting, he'll likely be immediately fact-checked, which won't look good for his brand. It makes the most sense for him to bring up his election grievances a few times early to placate his supporters before moving on to other topics.

Pick: Under 9.5 (-120)
