Mark Scheifele scored twice, and the Winnipeg Jets extended their winning streak to six games with a 6-2 win against the host Arizona Coyotes on Sunday.

Nikolaj Ehlers had a goal and an assist, and Connor Hellebuyck made 15 saves for the Jets, who are 10-0-2 in their past 12 games.

Nick Schmaltz and Dylan Guenther scored for the Coyotes, who have lost three in a row. Karel Vejmelka made 31 saves.

Vladislav Namestnikov put Winnipeg in front 1-0 at 17:16 of the first period. Arizona defenseman Sean Durzi took the puck behind the net and, with Cole Perfetti pressuring, sent a pass attempt to Namestnikov low in the left circle.

After outshooting the Coyotes 14-4 in the opening frame, the Jets continued to push the pace in the second period and connected on their sixth shot of the period to double the lead.

After taking a pass from Nate Schmidt high in the zone, Ehlers' attempt to send it to Dylan Samberg bounced off Samberg's skate above the left circle and Ehlers was first to the loose puck, sending it stick side on Vejmelka from the high slot to make it 2-0 at 3:53.

Arizona finally found its way to the offensive zone more than seven minutes into the period and set up for a long stretch before finally cashing in at 8:10 when Schmaltz scored far side from low in the left circle off a feed from Clayton Keller to cut the deficit to 2-1 on the Coyotes' first shot of the period.

Perfetti pushed the Jets' lead to 3-1 on a delayed penalty at 14:04, poking a loose puck just over the goal line from the doorstep.

Scheifele snapped a seven-game goal drought when he scored backhand glove side on a breakaway at 5:11 of the third period to extend it to 4-1.

Guenther narrowed it to 4-2 at 12:33 on a wraparound after he picked off Hellebuyck as the goalie tried to stop a bouncing puck behind the net.

Scheifele made it 5-2 with an empty-net goal at 18:08 and Adam Lowry added one from the slot for the 6-2 final.
