Italy Serie B promotion: 2nd leg. one thing to keep in mind is the away goal rule does not apply here. if Frosinone wins by a 1-goal margin (any) they get promoted due to the higher ranking in table.
Frosinone/Palermo - final future hanging in the balance for a decent chunk of change, as Sicilians hold a 2-1 advantage. Palermo unbeaten in 7 straight during their season ending run + playoffs, and have been draw specialists on the road finishing level in half their matches, which is precisely all they need here. Frosinone had a chance to nab the auto promo spot last wknd of season at home and scr*wed up with a 2-2 draw. theyve also conceded in 8 of the 9 games vs top of the table clubs all season. theyve also conceded in both playoff rounds too. as one would expect, these 2nd legs are tight at the start but end up becoming wide open. should back off and let it ride but love this option and hope Palermo can get the draw.

World Cup: this is what I call a "wait-and-see" type of day.
France/Aus - France is a notoriously slow starting team; be it Euros/WC what not. and for me, annoying as h*ll to get behind. 4 years ago they opened vs a cr*ppy Honduras squad and it took them FOREVER to get it cranking. scored only after a red was issued just before the half, an own goal, and they only managed to put 4 shots on target. Euros? same thing vs Romania. Qualifiers? couldnt beat Belarus, struggled vs Lux, Bulgaria too. i know this is Australia; on paper? they should blow this team to Siberia. but Les Bleus consistently play down to the level of their opponents. Australia probably shouldnt be here, but they are; and i freaking remember 4 years ago i said the same darn thing, and they were like 4-digits on the '+' side vs Holland too.....bloody had a lead in the 2nd half if memory serves me properly. no thanks to the HC line, ill save the alka-seltzers for another time.
will play this one prop as I think its solid.
Mbappe to score at anytime @+110 - Australia has a plodding, slow defense whom depend on cohesion and use of the trap. but the great thing with speed is it eliminates the need for 'timing'. just 'kick and run'. and this kid has afterburners, and as mentioned in my group thread, Kangaroos are in deep #@*! with him. theyll try to pack in in and hold out but ehhh... speed kills.
Gauchos/Iceland - Brazil? yes. Germany? yes. but i dont think Argentinia has the ability to simply 'flip the switch'. they had PLENTY of chances to do this during qualifying and failed, needing Lionel to bail them out. he retired & un-retired, Dybala was a head case after Sampaoli left him off the team; and like I saw with Uruguay ystday, they will get outplayed in midfield. and while all the "big boys" scheduled other "big boys" in the prelude, Gauchos put Haiti & Nicaragua(cancelled) on their sched. this team is fragile. Iceland everyone knows from their Euro run and they backed that up by making it here too; conceded 12 goals in last 4 Frieldlies which I admit made me worried initially but as a buddy duly noted, most came after subs were made. this team has quality and enuff to stay within the number and keep it close here I feel, perhaps even nab a point possibly.
however, I do admit, if Gauchos can suddenly gel they will need to be reckoned with this month. and Lionel alone can make this entire writeup look stupid. but i havent seen the domination accustomed to seeing from them & their defense has been shaky on the road all thru Qualifying.

back later with the other two.
