Insane Attempted Murder...Details Inside

Couldn't fit it all in the title so here we go.

2 guys play Counter Strike.

They have an IN-GAME knife fight.

Guy who loses gets pissed.

Spends 6 MONTHS finding the guy who "killed him".

Finds the man...knocks on his door...and stabs him in the chest with a REAL KNIFE.

Knife missed his heart by an inch.

Man gets 2 years (only?)

I saw something similar to this on an episode of Law and Order a few years ago, which in turn was probably based on a real life case

if you wanted to find anyone it's possible. maybe he actually said his real name. profile online. other online players who know him. etc etc.

Well yea...if he gave his full name, but than I can understand. But it says he was only known as "Mikhael". Who knows...but that's still crazy that he had that much motivation to get this guy.

I actually agree with the accussed on this one. No reason for taht guy to kill off his character in taht game. The victim clearly had this coming

The crazy guy could have just used a different username and pretended to be his friend over a few weeks times until the victim was comfortable enough to share his personal information.

Getting the IP address is easy. You then have to petition the court to make the carrier release it. Imagine if it was that easy to find each other. Internet tough guys would fade away
