There are ways to make it a complete work out which I havn't gotten too yet but it works your core as well as shoulders / legs/ and back. Good for range of motion.
I actually did pretty much just kettle today as a "mini" workout but normally mix it up with some heavy bag and cardio.
I just swing the things around between the legs and get to eye level... 3 times with each hand and rotate, and some two handed. It'll burn you and if you are in a hurry, ten minutes of that will do it.

Yeah, I think it is good at shredding fat. Actually heard it is extremely good.
If anything, it also is good for varying the routine and also providing additional motion. I get bored with same old exercises and change routines every six weeks anyway.
The only people who use the kettlebells in my gym are the boxers and they are ripped.

I already skip rope and heavy bag/box 3-5 times a week. . . Got any ideas on how to work out with them other than swinging them in between your legs or something? I'd like to add them in to the routine. . . Also have no idea where the hell I can get them

Lot of different exercises. The main is the swinging and simple clean, presss but here are some more Kettlebell exercises LINK. I think those boxers do the snatches. Oh, they also do some floor work (basicallly get down, then get up, similar to a squat thrust except they do it quicker)
The Turkish Get Up and the One Leg Squat look torturous.

You gotta get ON THIS KETTLEBELL STUFF. Just put it in a KB workout. It's freaking the bomb. You can hit any muscle you want with a MUCH larger range of movement...... lunges, squats, shrugs, presses, side bends, you name it.
The way that ball dangles from the handle or something forces your core muscles to get involved. Just holding the darn thing up in the air is a workout.
Don't know where to get them but glanced online and they look kinda expensive. They say if you are in shape to get the 53 pounder but that seems way too heavy. I'm in shape and the 35 pounder is more than plenty. They are in kilograms and confusing and I was using a 28 pounder last week and didn't know it.
This KB workout is the bomb. Maybe hit the gym once a week for some leg sleds or something but these kettlebells can take care of just about anything.
