I have done very well betting futures, especially in CFB so here are a few future bets to consider....
Heisman winner:
1. Tua (their schedule is weak, and Alabama might have the best WR corps in the programs history. Their Oline is strong, and they have the best RB's in CFB.
2. Jonathan Taylor (The Wisconsin OLine is probably the best in the country, and w/ a limited passing game, it's not out of the question for Taylor to rush for 2500 yards on an undefeated team..
3. Ryan Finley NCST QB- This kid has improved significantly every year, so the 5th year senior might have a season for the ages. (He has the most impressive WR group in CFB... I wouldnt be surprised if all of them were 1st rd picks.
4. Dwyane Haskins has all of the characteristics of a superstar, and the Buckeye's are loaded at RB, and WR. He's going to make several splash plays...
5. Brian Lewerke has a shot at shocking the world and winning the heisman. Lewerke has experience in big games, and he's a dangerous runner as well as good passer. He'll be in the games where if he wins, MSU will be in playoff contention.
6. Shea Patterson/Stidham/Herbert/Grier
AJ Dillon also has a chance.
Boston College will also surpass their season win total

UPSIDE: MSU returns 19 of 22 starters and has big WR's. LJ Scott back for his senior season at running back should give the Spartans a balanced offense. Lewerke has the ability to throw and run. He has a sturdy frame to absorb hits. Dantonio always seems to have a trick play for big games that draw a lot of publicity when they work, and MSU has Michigan and Ohio State at home.
DOWNSIDE: MSU has no big non-conference game to draw national publicity. At Arizona State may be their only chance to impress the nation. There is no viable backup behind Lewerke, and Scott too for that matter. So how much will Dantonio let Lewerke run? MSU has Penn St and Mich in back to back games.
Out of the Big Ten I like Jonathan Taylor's chances best based on their schedule. Wisconsin has an easy schedule again! Non-Conf. games with Western Kentucky, New Mexico, and BYU. Two toughest games on the road at Michigan (wk7) and Penn St (wk11). No Ohio State.
When Wisky plays Mich., the Wolv's have MSU on deck. When Wisky plays Penn St, the Lions just came off of playing Michigan. I see no back to back tough games for the Badgers.

Only way he wins it is they win the B10 and make it the CFB playoffs...If that is the case you have a better shot at taking MSU to win the B10. He will need to put up 300+ yards passing per game. Like I said not gonna happen as they have a balance attack and Dantonio is more focused on running game a defense and running the clock out. If Lewerke were in a spread offense in a different conference then possibly.

Your absolutely correct. It would have to be winning the Big10 and probably an undefeated regular season. Maybe not 300 yds per game, just a big 4th quarter drive for a big win and undefeated would give him a chance. That's why he is currently 50-1 at WilliamHill. A longshot for sure.
Shea Patterson is 22-1. Michigan should be weak at the tackle position and their schedule is not very good. Don't see a chance for him.
Love and Taylor at +700 with Tua at +10 would be my trio.

Lewerke is esentially a lotto ticket, but two years ago I had Lamar Jackson and Trubisky.... Before the NBA season started I took Houston to win the West, Houston to win it all, and a long shot Donovan Mitchell to win ROY....
Good chance I dont hit any of em, but il take me chances...
I also think Patterson has a chance, but he'll need to show signinficant improvement since Ole Miss. Hopefully Harbaugh can really help his development...
There's no way I would take Kelly Bryant, Cam Akers or Jake Fromm... There's no way Fromm can keep Fields off the field the entire season, same as Bryant who wont be able to keep Lawrence off the field.. Cam Akers will be splitting carries with Jaquez Patrick, Zquandre White, and Khalon Laborn who could have the best season of all of the FSU RB's...
