Been busy with bases and CBB so havent been here in awhile. Also been in some NHL too...lol.
Havent looked at much football yet but have been looking at some futures. My book hasnt released the conference odds yet, only National Championship. No pick on that yet but was able to lock in my Seahawks at +1200 before they picked up Harvin, and Avril. Got 2 units on that. Finished 2012 in the positive for another +year. Hope to contribute more here this coming year than last year. Haf a lot of moose this past season but still came up on top. Good luck to us all and I will be back as I lock things in.

Hawaii wont look that much improved to the common spectator because of awful schedule. Most likely wont be betting their games this season. All depends how they come out of byes, travel, and diminishing fan base at home. Just IMO.

Like Seattkes chances here. Maybe a little homer again but I believe Crabtree was a large amount of the offense...especially in situational places.
Yes, I am biting the media bait with Cincy. At double money, I'll give it a shot.
Those are the only futures for me this year in pro ball. Will be on a few win totals as well if price is right. Killed college futures last year but only posted plays last year. Only pro futures I had last year were Pats to win division, ands Pats to win SB.1-1. GL to ev1

Wow. Youre probably right on with that number. I go thru a local and the lines arent up yet. Counted 6 wins for them just from a quick glance at schedule. Thats with them sweeping the Chargers and Raiders . If anyone had the slightest thought of them splitting any of those series, I would say under is a better play. Kind of leaning on Cowboys winning NFC East but the Skins and Giants are so tough to feel out.

Week 1 Leans: Ole Miss, Clemson, Washington, UAB, Purdue, Wisky, Ohio State, ULM, Michigan, Fresno...I have not really looked at lines...these are leans just by looking at first week schedule. Any info/feedback is nice. It's a forum and that's what it's for. No need for bashing, drama, or any other type of childish behavior is needed. We're here to help eachother. Good luck to all.

@DUp I think so. Been kind of thinking on this since the draft. After hearing Rutgers players getting called so many times, had to have took a major hit on roster.
@Hammer Like ULM in the situation. Hoping the line goes higher for more comfort...lol. They return a bunch and gave Ark and Auburn all they wanted although Ark was going thru a bad coaching change and Auburn had to deal without OC.

Looking back to last year, come to think of it, Icant believe I laid that much juice on Pats to win division...goes to show u how abismal Jets, Bill, Fins were self projected last year and worked out...lol. Just randomly thinking.

@beastie I go thru a local. Should be available on all online betting sites if my local has it. He just goes off of what Vegas has but somewhat adjusted because he releases about 2-3 weeks after online books.

Adding: Rams -2.5 vs Bears @ -115 .5u Bengals -3 vs Colts @ -115 .5u
If u look at the schedules (placement of games and perception of teams), u will see why I like these two games. Add to it that they will both be at home for these games.

Stated earlier that I wont post in seperate forums so I am fully aware that this is the college forum. My book has not released any lines on college games...if they had, id be posting some of those.

Adding... Stanford to win BCS Championship .5u @ 20/1.
I really wanted to have some sort of future wager in this category because I always do for every sport. After looking it over (schedules, players, coaches, conference teams, etc), I feel this team has the most value when looking at all the available teams. Sure I could say Bama is a good bet at +275 but when I place final type wagers (championship game, Stanley Cup, World Series and so on), I usually try to find a medium to large payout. I usually pick 1 of all my leans. In this case I chose Stanford over My list of Bama, Louisville, Ohio State, FSU, Oregon, And a few others.

Stanford is not even close to possessing the athletes necessary to compete for a national championship, unless they are fortuitous enough to find themselves matched up against some lame Big 10 team in the title game, and that's just not going to happen. Save your money for a bet that has some realistic shot of winning.
