I think this will be zig zag. White sox won yesterday, Twins today. I think you overestimate Kopech. Somehow, the twins will find ways to score and someone throwing at 100mph will get tired quickly and lose accuracy.

Like many young power pitchers, Kopech struggles with command of the strike zone. Twins batters would be wise to keep their bats on their shoulders for an inning or two, draw a few walks or HBPs and rattle him.

I am a Cub fan that will be watching Kopech. Actually used him on 1 of my fan duel teams. Comcast ran a nice story on him. He has worked his butt off to get to his 1st Major League start. His friends that he works out with predict Hall of Fame for Kopech. Killer work outs. Let's see what happens.

or he feels stressed and pitches all over the place to allow walks.

Personally, I thought when Sale went on the DL it was more of a way to rest the guy before the playoffs
I agree. With Bauer iffy for the post season, the Indians would be wise to do the same with Kluber. He's been laboring thru his last few starts. With an insurmountable division lead, why not just put him on the 10 day DL for maintenance purposes? Let him relax and recover.

Moncada was a monster for the first few months of the season and has hit the rookie wall full steam ahead since about June. He now leads the majors in strikeouts and his batting average is trending down towards the Mendoza line for the season.

The line of this game is a joke. Last night on a twins pitcher debut the line was -170, now with their best pitcher it’s -115 ha!0
And that’s all thanks to Kopech fantasy hype, fantasy nerds have been salivating to see. Kopech but reality is that he can k a lot of bats but he also struggles with walks. Debut on the majors with an ace treatment, like the Twins here.
