I spent a whole 5 minutes for mondays shit, fuck it.
Rangers @ 1.70- The Angels haven't scored a run since friday, Ervin Santana is pitching garbage, giving up bombs left, right and center, Roy Oswalt has improved his last 2 starts, just enough for this to be playable.
White Sox @ 1.72- This same Quintana/DeVries matchup went down last week in Chi-town and resulted in a 10-4 sox win, tomorrow shouldn't be to much different.
Rays @ 1.87- I'm aware the A's have been on fire, but this is their 1st home game after a east coast road trip, David Price in solid form is always a good bet at a pick em.
Mariners @ 1.94- What the fuck is wrong with Romero? Actually I don't give a fuck, the current form Jays is likely no better than the Royals team the M's just swept, Iwakuma is coming off a 1 run quality start vs the Yanks, when the fuck does JA Happ make his Jays debut anyways?

i have the same leans on the rays & the M's. i like the starting pitchers, plus the fact both opponents had to make 3000 mile flights & are jet lagged.
gamblers tend to not take long distance travel into account when capping games. but teams who fly cross country have a lot of trouble scoring runs 1st game out.
this is because flying shakes travelers, even at miniscule levels, during the entire flight. The shaking causes people to feel very tired after long flights. this fatigue makes it hard to hit 90 mph pitches or to have the exact timing necessary to hit a base hit vs a pop fly.
add in the fact that the players bodies think its 10PM EST when they start playing the game, then these guys get really, really tired in the latter innings. Games tend to be played with flat energy, the extra effort is not there.

I hate backing Romero but Mariners can't hit lefties at all. I thinki this might be a good let down spot for the M's.
A let down from what? If ya listen to inside the lines on sunday mornings during football season, Steve Rapp would call teams like the M's loosey goosey, there is absolutly no pressure on the M's the rest of the season. Anyways the M's actually have a slightly better batting average vs lefties, for most teams the differnce is less than 4%, I threw that shit out the window 2 months ago. The one team we can currently use that against however is the Indians.

yeah.
I agree with that most days, but the truth is with games on Sunday played during the afternoon, most teams head out right after, the A's and Jays are likely already on the west coast.

I should probably tail other posters too but I'm on job sites or the road all day, my cell phone contract is almost up which means a free upgrade to a smart phone finally.
