The odds were against you the whole time pal, the run could have come any time during the 4.5 innings the game went after the total hit 8 in the top of the 5th.  If you struggle with math, that's half of the game that very nearly went scoreless.  Hardly something to bang your head against the wall over.

point is in the 9th with an 8 run lead there is no reason to even want to score more. i beat the odds for 4 innings. why not another one am i that unreasonable to want that to happen. especially on a ground ball and a walk in the innning. Get real man.

completly correct.. my first and last post season play.. Shit like this will happen in may games, will focus on football.. this shit is just way to stressful.. I agree the game was lost since the 5th but come on.. why just that run. why not more, that shit just look some damm obvious, just score for the over and thats it...

the outs after that run all came quick... fucking BS

Are you suggesting the over was fixed? 

It blows my mind how many people believe major sports are fixed.  Vegas doesn't need to fix games to make money.. they already have an advantage in the juice they charge on every single bet.  They're guaranteed 10% of the total amount gambled.  They don't need to fix games, they're getting rich enough off of us as is.

I thought my in-game total over 9.5 was looking real good when I took it at the end of 4 when it was 6-0. Two batters into the 5th it was 8-0 and then nothing the rest of the way really.

I knew I was in trouble after Upton led off with a double and the meat of the Rays order couldnt make it 9-0 in the 7th.

Come on man get real It was just a few years ago that a NBA official was caught betting and fixing games. Are you living in a bubbble? Don't be so nieve. Of course some are fixed. Wake up. And i didn't say the Texas game was fixed at all just a bad break for me when I had a winner or thought i had a winner and a tie in the 9th. Forgive me for hoping for something good to happen my way. But to say noting is fixed in sports ...well you may as well live in a fairy tail. It's all about money and greed period. Wake up brother. And besides I wont go into details but i had personal information about a certain group of college officials that fixed games. I know because I cashed BIG on them. End of Story. Chill CRS.. If you read my post you'd see I was responding to a quote from somebody else.  Sorry for jumping on your back earlier about venting.  Everybody has a right to vent when shit hits the fan.. it's human nature and I'm in no position to criticize that.

However, as far as the Vegas fixes games conspiracy theory goes..  Some individuals or small groups of people may attempt to influence the outcome of games for their own benefit.. I would never deny that this occurs.  You're right, people are greedy; and some people in the position of power tend to abuse it.  Like referees for example.  But!  These are micro examples in a macro system that by-in-large functions fairly and justly.

To say that the two teams playing tonight went out in the 9th for one more run and then settled for quick outs after that is ludicrous.  Vegas doesn't have a hand inside the ass of every professional team controlling them like marionettes.

si1ly I realize you were responding to another quote. And i do realize that fixes are minute and rare but they have existed and will happen again. Vegas has too much to lose to be involved with that garbage I know that. But games can be manipulated without Vegas being involved. And tonights game never crossed my mind as a fix. I was just pissed off big time that after it looked like a sure loser that I may get a break and push the 8 and win the under 81/2. And going into the 9th it should have really ended 8-0. And i would be elated. But how it scored really got my goat. And why he brought in Gonzales I'll never know and unproven scrub from the Orioles bullpen. I knew I was cooked when he made that move. It was just  a scenerio of shouldn't be. Sorry

I echo your sentiments!! I had a great "live betting" line at BetOnline after 7 1/2 with UN 8.5 +165. I hammered it!
