Apparently backstrom just got hurt in warmup.  I house is saying that he could barely get off the ice.

Backstrom took a shot to his lower body during warmups and will likely be scratched from Tuesday's game against the Blackhawks.

Yeah, unless the Wild just trap the whole game and look for breakaways this is going to suck hard.

If he is out next game it will be a no play.  It really should be now, but this close to dropping the puck it's not really practical.

F me.

I'm debating whether to buy it back through an in game wager.

Did you buy it back Lipps? I let it ride. That early goal gave me the false confidence I needed to not hit submit on the hawks live in game. It's a long game with two periods left, but I'm ok with this play losing as I would rather take the chance and let it ride up one goal. 0-0 and I wouldn't feel this way. Lets hope things continue like they did in the first period.

I let it ride also, the Wild don't have anything to be ashamed about at all with that performance.

Wish I would have taken the Wild and the goal. What a gritty a s  s performance that was. Hawks had to take notice too.

I see a thread with you took CHI -1.5 last night???

What do you see are good game 2 bets? I'm giving this "split" strategy a try.

Thanks

It was for a spread series bet. Examples would be Chicago winning the series 4-0, 4-1, or 4-2. Win by at least -1.5 games

Many nhl betting trends that come in every season were thrown off by the NHL lockout it would seem. There is a certain time of the season I take all dogs on the board for a week or two straight and it cashes big every year but I did not use it this year after I saw so many strange things happening and it was a good thing because that also was completely different.

Not to say this is done though, there is still a game 2 for these games but it does look different. For one thing would the Leafs, Isles and Wild even be in the playoffs had it been a full season...This we do not know, but I can tell you my Flyers would have taken a game in Pittsburgh. That`s the type of thing throwing this off.

Do we stick with the game plan and play all game 2s? And if so...bet the same amount as game 1s?

Oh stick with it for sure and bet the same amounts.

Sens +141 still working for tonight and add to that the Wings +126 going for the 2nd game split.

The Rangers and Kings are not a play.  The Rangers 1st game tonight and they are not getting enough payback and the Kings were not a play in game one because of lack of payback so where they were not a play then, they are not a play for game two.......BUT..............

This is where the "Lippsman Split" has been tweaked over the decades.  A very close series like the Kings and Blues......A number of players will play the Kings because they don't expect the Kings to go down 0-2.

But historically the team that wins game one win game two at a .590 clip for the preliminary round.  So with the very small payback for the Kings is not a wise play.

Yeah, Polar it took me a month to dig out of the dog strategy hole that was created at the start of the year. But I think the Wings have a great shot tonight and also the Sens.

1-4 so far right? So now might be a good time to jump on board
