Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Rondo is the difference maker in this series! Imho! When this guy decides to penetrate and distribute the ball he is godly........then you have the Rondo who just holds the ball and points and looks at the clock and makes inconsequential passes that actully hurt his teams chances! We will know early how this game will go by Rondo's actions or lack thereof!

Grammar, as a generally solid indicator of intellectual capacity and thought process, is most certainly deemed inconsequential by many of the posters on this site. It is strongly indicative of a lack of higher education and is certainly unfortunate. It is also cause for pause when evaluating the wagering recommendations of these posters who lack rudimentary English skills.

Seems like the C's getting 8 points is a bit much considering the experience and depth they have compared to the Heat. All the same Vegas doesn't usually throw out #'s like this unless they are thinking blowout. Not sure which way I'm going yet but my early lean is Miami laying the points.

. I have B.A.'s in both Psychology and Education. I also acquired a advanced degree in Marketing. So don't take this the wrong way.
I could care less if JOEShmo knows how to spell Indiana or Illinois or even Iowa. The only thing I care about ... ?? Is Joe making MONEY! Bottom Line Meat...Most people with what you call, "Higher Education" Don't bet or even follow sports. I could care less about the grammar.. Cash makes my house payments...Prime Bank could give a flying fuk about my Grammar..

Boston's Allen is less than 50%. Pierce is also injured.
Bradley is out.
Miami steam rolled Philly all year. Philly took Boston to 7.
1 days rest for Boston. 3 full days for Miami.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Miami up 10+ @ half and blow them out in game 1. While on paper this looks fantastic for the NBA. This is a very bad matchup for Boston.
Forget the season series means nothing.
Best of luck MM.
Interesting........
You didn't mention BOS took 3 out of 4 vs MIA.............IN THE REG' SEASON............
Throw those reg' season stats out the window, they're IRRELAVENT!!!!!!!!!!

For those who think 8-8.5 points is too much look back at game 1 of the Pacers series which had Miami favored by the same number and they miraculously won by 9. Oh yeah by the way I was on Indiana on that game. Heat -8.5 is the play!!!
I remember, lost my parlay by that 1/2 fuckin' pt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I don't get the line so I'm just throwing a bet at it.
Boston Celtics +8.0
Respectfully, what don't you get about the line? I check in to most of your threads just because it seems you're a long term winner, but what line did you expect to see?

Take dogs of more than 4 points in the opening game of a series if both teams played at least 6 games in the previous round and if they do not have 9 or more days of rest together. These teams covered 11 straight since 2003. They won 4 of those outright and lost 7 of those by no more than 5 points. The play here is BOSTON CELTICS +8.5

Am I the only one who's been expecting a 5 or a 5.5 here? It's 8 and now at 8.5. Or I'm just over value-ing Bosh' absence.

Nah, Bosh is massive for the Heat, as besides James and Wade...and Chalmers and Miller arguably, every other player on the Heat squad is a liability. On the Celtics side of the ball, though, who are they showing us? Outside of the big 3, not one player on that team has a positive Roland rating (I know this is basic, but I've looked into other advanced stats as well) aside from Brandon Bass and obviously Rajon Rondo. People are honestly underestimating the absence of Bradley imo more than the absence of Bosh. I just think the line has to be at least 7 here, and I'm not surprised to see 8
