I've been working from home this week, so have more time to be on the forum and capping the weekend games. After an initial run through the opening lines, here is where I'm leaning for Sunday's games. I'll start up a separate post for the Thursday night game. Happy to discuss any of the leans or any other plays on the card.

I like rams, they are better than record indicates. I also like fading ATL, NO can take down the dragon this sunday. Their offense seems to be back and will play tough at home.

if you watched their games, their offense didn't play as well as expected. Obviously you are going by the stats but you know if you watched all their games, they would drop crucial balls, miss on third and short, running game was ineffective. Obviously their D was in disarray, they seem to be turning the corner on D and O.
You should watch your name calling, just because it's online doesn't mean you should write stuff like that. You certainly wouldn't do that to my face.

it's kinda like hitting a small window for me but denver to beat carolina because the absense of chris gamble. carolina doesn't have much of a d. i know cam newton has kept it close a couple times then won. but if you consider that denver is now rated basically the best team in the afc i see no reason why they can't trash carolina just like NE or Houston would
nothing to do with john fox. he's not even a good coach. never would i feel safe about a pick if it was riding on a good performance from john fox
i'm going for atlanta. i don't have to worry about sean payton either. so i'm happy with the pick of atlanta. i know it's the road but i'm really riding this team. maybe i'll crash but i doubt it
st louis does get amandola back this week which could help some. san fran doesn't run the score up so i'm not sure how this one will go. i know they blew out arizona on the road. but they didn't win there game before that by much

rr - I think this week has the potential to be a dud for the Broncos. Carolina is actually pretty decent defensively and despite their record, they have been close in every game but one. Still need to look things over, but I think Carolina will be able to run the ball effectively and their pass defense will be somewhat effective vs. Peyton. Cam is always a wildcard
bigkaptain - really like the giants-bungles over. I might hit that one pretty hard. And right now, I'm leaning to the Saints rolling over the Falcons

Like Carolina as well as they are a better team than the record indicates..I've been on Denver a number of games this year however it seems oddsmakers have priced them above value in this one and knowing that public bets favorites they set it at 4 which is an interesting number. I may not make it a larger wager but may include the Panthers in a teaser or two..

Like New Orleans this week too, Spaz. Really thought last week was the time to fade Atlanta, but they still pulled it out. Saints got a little bit of swagger back beating Philly on Monday night. Loved how all 3 of their backs were running hard. Just opens up the play book for Brees. The lack of a run game is going to hurt Atlanta at some point. When that happens, they probably can't keep up with an offense like the Saints. Just throwing some thoughts out there. Good luck this week.

thanks for the response
I have already ruled out a good game from cam newton, and i think he could become a nfl bust. i am most likely playing the broncos. if i lose, it is because super cam showed up for a game.

Nothing wrong with this Broncos pick at all. Before the start of this year, East Coast teams -vs- West Coast teams (1pm EST start time) were 44-15 since 2007. East Coast teams have won 75% of their games -vs- West Coast teams from 2007 to 2011. However, the Broncos are known as a MTS (Mountain Time) team - even then, the record of East Coast 1pm EST start time -vs- MTS teams since 2007 is 24-11, still clippin' @ 69%
This year, the Broncos have won their only game played on the East Coast @ the 1pm EST start time, which was last week. Spazzer was on them as well.
I like the Cam Newton as a wild card pick, Spaz. This is on my heavy leans list.

Tough scheduling spot as is.. second road game in a row after prime time against the Saints on a short week. Carolina meanwhile off a good road win. This is a game you have to look to fade the Broncos - even though they're the superior team on paper.

Carolina Panthers +4 (12 units to win 11.43)
Carolina Panthers +170 (3 units to win 5.1)
New York/Cincinnati Over 47.5 (20 units to win 19.05)
Tennessee Titans +6.5 (12 units to win 11.43)
Atlanta/New Orleans Over 53 (20 units to win 19.05)
