Ok. I get the numbers and the 300 days of sunshine bit. However, it is possible to get bad weather in Denver, and impossible to get it in Indy's dome.
My point is that Manning will be doing something he has never done for an entire season....play outdoors week in and week out. He will be outside of his comfort zone, and will not get to play at least half of his games in a bubble, away from the elements. This could be big if he is not truly 100% healthy.
In my own opinion, the weather and playing outdoors are worth figuring into the equation concerning Manning's overall performance. I am not saying that they are deal breakers ( like I said earlier on in the thread, I would have signed him), but they are factors that need to be addressed.
It is even a distinct possibility that Manning is excited about throwing the ball at altitude in Denver.....if there are concerns about his arm strength, then assignments in Tennessee and Miami (sea level gigs) would not be nearly as attractive as Denver. The rain and humidity may have been more of an obstacle than potential wind and snow in Denver.
I guess we will see........

Those are good points about the o-line. I like Clady as well (Boise State guy) and think that it is extremely tough to determine how much Tebow himself had to do with all of the sacks....the Broncos were in 3 and long alot, which is the money down for pass rushers.
The pocket melting vs New England in both matchups is what sticks in my mind about the pass protection...Tebow was running for his life in both of those games, starting in the first half. A less mobile QB would have gotten served even worse.
You do realize that was the case as NE brought the house knowing Tebow's deficiencies as a passer. Now blitzing top qbs and too often defenses get torched. Manning is probably the best at reading defenses thus he audibles, calls for protection schemes, snaps the ball, and gets it to his hot reciever all before the rush gets to him.
I can't wait to see Denver playing with the lead and seeing Von Miller, Dumervil, and Ayers get after opposing qbs. I'm getting wood just thinking about it.

New England got to Tebow with 4 and 5 playing zone coverage on the backside, they didn't need to bring 6 and 7. Tebow shredded Pitt whom brought the farm and played zero coverage....
Manning is good, the ball will be out of his hand quickly like always....but if you can get in his face, he is human like everyone else.
Denver has alot of question marks.....the pass d needs to pick it up, and the offense will attempt to make a complete 180 in philosophy in 6 months. A tall task, but Manning is legend, so we will see.

Tebow traded for a 4th round pick.....I am surprised that the Broncos made the move this soon; I was wrong about that one. Certainly shows just how bad Elway and company wanted to get away from Tebow mania, they were not even willing to go into camp with him on the roster.
Don't really understand why the Jets want him....my guess would be to run some wildcat shit on the goaline, maybe sell some jerseys in NYC.
Anyway you slice it, those are some bold moves by the Denver front office.
