My goal is to make a lot of money. 100k? or more. its not play chips, its monopoly money. I dont know, I think Pats wont cover. KC made it to the playoff last year and I think they feel disrespected going in as big underdog on the road...we will see how much Ill bet

Well Addictedtogambling, if you now have a $11,700 Bankroll, and want to bet $5K on one game...win or lose, I can promise you that you will not have your bankroll very long. you are proposing to risk 43% on one game. Understand that if you (and I know very few that do) spend 8-10 hours a day pounding stats, monitoring line movements, keeping up to the minute on injuries/team issues/news, then you will be doing INCREDIBLY well if you only lose 4 of every 10 plays that you were convinced would win. with a 11700 BR you should limit your total risk (at any given time) to 200 to 500 max depending if you are on a heater or a cooler....
I live, play, cap here in Vegas, work with a substantially larger bankroll than yours (the exacts are nobodys biz...not rude, just real) yet more often than not I have less then 5k in play.
play large %'s of you BR and you will keep funding it until you can no longer afford to do so, then you will fade away. Just giving you the reality of the game.....GL

if you goal is to make money, you have to look long term, eke out profits (grind).... 2% to 5% MAX in play at any given time. If you plan is to 'pop up' you BR really fast and then slow it down...won't happen... you win $4500 tomorrow nite and then lower you plays to a few hunder per?? no, you will be in need of the 'risk' the adrenaline... jus sayin

while i agree with money management alot of gamblers dont do it and they chase u bet 5k tonight your chasing but ur also fading the public with that bet and i say roll with it last monday i was down a $200 for the weekend and had no businesss even betting monday night but did anyway and hit a 6 teamer so if i can hit a 6 teamer u can hit this bro go for it

Flat line (average play %) @ 3%, increase it slightly when you are 'running hot' and start bringing it down when you start (or are on) a cooler. You will survive inevitable cold streaks that way, win more when you are hot, lose less when you are cold..... hope that helps...peace
