Thought yesterday would be even better, but the Phillies failed me in extras. No complaints as I got bailed out in Washington by Ian Desmond in the bottom of the 9th on my biggest bet of the year to this point. Turned a push into a win. Plus I got Chipper on my fantasy team, so all was not lost in the Phi-Atl game.

Last two years, Vogelsong is 3-0 with a 0.85 ERA and 0.57 WHIP off a start where he allowed 4+ earned runs. Small sample size, so don't put too much weight into this one, but just putting it out there

GiL - I did look at the over with Morrow off a 0 ER, but as you point out, both guys are dealing, so no interest. Lean to the Angels and I have a gut feeling Pujols does some damage, but I'll likely be on the sidelines with that one. GL on the under.
Cleveland / Chicago UNDER 8.5 (25 units to win 23.81)
I love the first two games went over and I love that these two pitchers faced off earlier in the year and that went way over. These guys are getting the same number as Tomlin and Humber, which to me is a head scratcher. No specific situational stats in play for Masterson, but I think he has turned the corner after a sluggish start. He will benefit from the ChiSox hitting .203 vs. over their last 5 games and only .219 at home vs. righties. Danks on the other hand is a good situational spot, one I've kept an eye on over the years and hoping he delivers tonight. Since 2008, Danks is 8-3 with a 1.86 ERA and 0.95 WHIP at home following a previous home start where he allowed 5 or more earned runs. Lean to the White Sox, but no interest going against Masterson tonight.

Awesome numbers on Danks follow-up of a home start - I didn't get into that one, but I did run some numbers on Masterson and he's actually been pretty damn solid -vs- the White Sox since 2009 holding an ERA a tad over 2 (2.10) in 10 games started. But what backed me out of a play on the Indians was the current White Sox are hitting a combined .326 off Masterson, with Pierzynski (25 AB) and Adam. Freaking. Dunn. (15 AB) hitting .400 off Masterson.
And I too couldn't figure out why this total between Masterson/Danks would be the same as Tomlin/Humber, which made me play the "lines game" and leaned hard on the *UNDER* - Humber was in a nice bounce back start yesterday, which I rode along with, and the White Sox BP tanked in the 9th.
My initial leans on this game was the Indians ML and the *UNDER* - you've helped me move away from the Indians and hop on board with you on the *UNDER*.
Let's get it, Spazzer.
And I'll hope & root for Albert Pujols to rack 2 solo shots tonight - although I also might make a play on the Blue Birds @ +money since I'm still currently in the middle of a Brandon Morrow Project which is Fading @ Home & Pounding on Road.

GiLmo - good stuff buddy, as always. I might ride along on that Toronto-LA under. I can actually be good with one Pujols homer, so a 2-1 Toronto final works out well. I didn't get to look at Masterson, but bizarre he gets burned by AJ and Dunn. I'm hoping he's found his stuff that he had last year
