alot of mixed opinions about this game, understandably so. On paper, an excellent matchup. Bowl games are not easy to handicap, some teams are there to play football, some are there for the party. God bless those of you who can figure that out. I'm sticking with a proven commodity, Oklahoma, winners of 3 straight bowl games and 8 of their last 9 against A&M. Both these teams I'm sure will be motivated, no Florida Gator meltdown for either of these clubs tonight. I believe the more motivated team will be Oklahoma, and I think a big part of that will be because of Landry Jones. He's got to be taking this matchup with Manziel a bit personally, I know I would. Let's not forget, offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury won't be there for "Johnny Football" as he has moved onto Texas Tech as the head coach. And I do believe Manziel will feel pressure that senior counterpart Landry Jones simply won't.
Both teams played well down the stretch, I really like OKL's body of work since the loss to N.D., with wins over IA. ST., a very good Baylor team, OKL. ST., W.V., and TCU, really all quality teams and a couple of hard fought wins. I like that because both these teams are going to come out swinging and I suspect this will be a 12 round fight. Let's get ready to rumble!
OKL M/L+140
OKL +3
Good luck and best wishes to all this new year!
