Slim ~ Those 'voter fraud' allegations are disconcerting.I hope we don't have to endure that after November.
weve had to endure it the last 3.5 years from him... past behavior is often the predictor for future behavior

donjuan...when Mitt picks Condi the women and black vote will slide a bit to GOP...maybe enough to secure the victory
I doubt the black vote would switch to rice... no if the dems were not running a half black incumbent it might be a different story...
my opinion about the black vote is not who they will vote for, but if they will vote again in the same way... think the best strategy is for the GOP/teaparty is to say obama is a mediocre president and romney is better, then black voters will stay home thinking obama should win...
but it would appear that the GOP/teaparty are doing everything they possibly can to try to invigorate the black voters to come out and have obama win...
rather then talking about good and bad parts of obama record (which will bore black voters into staying home)...
we have heard a biased/onesided rhetoric of "worst president ever", socialist/communist/hitler, desperately grasping at any petty little thing and the use of racial innuendo or in some case blatant racism... all things that will get black voters to go al sharpton/naacp and get all fired up and come out and vote...
All GOP/teaparty needs to do is keep their mouths shut long enough for romney to step in... but instead they are going out of their way to shoot themselves in the foot... and in some cases in the face with mindless negative Spin and attribution with obama that will bring out the black voters and lose them the election...
it is going to take great strategy on the part of GOP/teaparty for romney to win and so far they have spent alot of time ensuring that obama will be president...
I guess it does not surprise me that the GOP/teaparty does not understand the black/minority vote.... as much as I hear people talking about liberals you would think that they would be able to play them like a fiddle by giving them nothing to get all up in arms about...
but instead the GOP/teaparty has spent +3 years acting like liberals... with their signs and rallies...
perhaps beck and palin can have another thousand person march on washington mocking MLK again...

most repubs are old white folk, who are becoming less and less in each election. Foreigners who assimilate here dont want to vote for a pro -life pro gun, pro religion etc party,

MELLOW_WOLF ... your post #19, about Florida being a swing state.
That's the exact reason that I'm out here in Fl. promotion 4 more years for Obama....No more Katherine Harris baloney. This state is the key.
Well, Florida is always a nefarious state, it seems.
If you live there, what do you think of former State GOP chairman Jim Greer's trial? He is currently on trial for 6 felony charges involving money laundering and grand theft for setting up a shell company to transfer GOP funds to himself and an associate.
He recently commented, under deposition, about Florida GOP tactics to directly suppress the African-American vote. Apparently, some GOP'ers were upset about Gov.Crist appointing a liberal African-American judge to the state Supreme Court. Now, he may simply be vengeful and wanting to retaliate against the Florida GOP, but I doubt he would make such accusations if there were not some truth behind them.
The cesspool of American politics always seems to get deeper in Florida...

I think the headline of Jim Greer denounces Florida Republican Party officials as liars, 'right-wing crazies' in deposition might be a little misleading...
I think this one might be more accurate...
former Florida Republican Party chairman Jim Greer denounced some party
officials as liars and "whack-a-do, right-wing crazies'' as he described
turmoil in the months before his resignation.
Just like this forum... some conservative/GOPs have a long history of being cut/paste Liars, "whack-a-do", "right-wing crazies"...

I did not think about the the newly legalized immigrant population that are now voters... funny that it was missed considering how much emphasis certain groups of people put on illegals

Florida is a mess..So many right wing radio talk shows poluting the airwaves. It's sickening ! No matter what the President does or says they find a negative.
Take for an example...when Bin Laden was killed..Instead of saluting the accomplishment. Do you know what they said ? He's taking too much credit when he went on TV and told America !lol. I mean thats like annoucing to America that Hitler was killed during WW11

Simple semantics. I think it's safe to assume that most people don't paint with a borad brush. I certainly don't.
The content of the article if far more important and consquential than the interpretation of its heading.
