I just don't see the Giants being able to put up enough runs to beat Cardinals. Too many good hitters in this offense even without Beltran to put up a crooked number on the board. Small numbers for Bumgarner but he hasnt been great against the Cardinals, but hasnt been bad winning last year at St Louis giving up only 2 earned runs (very early in the season). Not the same team he will face tonight by any means. This team is full of veterans and winners who have heart. SF will be good for 2 or more errors which will kill them tonight, this Cardinal team will really take advantage of these undisciplined errors. Too many rookies on this banged up SF team. Current Giants are hitting a whopping .170 (not a big sample size) against Garcia as I see him really bouncing back from his last start against this little league line-up. Last time in San Francisco he gave up 1 run and 4 hits in 6 innings pitched and received a no decision. Going with the better team here.
