Prior to the start of the season, I would have laughed at anyone who told me WKU would be favored in this game. Troy has been a tremendous home team in recent years and has thrived in these isolated primetime TV spots, including several wins against big-name opponents. WKU does not fit that description, but there is growing sentiment that the 'Toppers are becoming the "new" Troy - i.e. an emerging team that will dominate the Sun Belt for several years. I think that sentiment comes to a (temporary) halt this evening.
It's not often the underdog has the vastly superior quarterback, but Robinson is head-and-shoulders above Jakes even without considering the health issues of the latter. The emergence of Southward in the backfield has given Troy the best one-two punch in the conference. The defense, maligned throughout last season due to injuries and a dearth of experience at key positions, looks like arguably the top unit in the conference.
WKU destroyed Troy last year in a game that was really never close. That Trojans team was fraught with injuries and was winding down a terribly disappointing season. It's an awesome revenge spot for a team looking not only to avenge last year's beatdown, but to reestablish its formidable home-field advantage in front of a nationwide audience.

Afternoon my friend. As usual looking for some information and insight into the Colorado Ariz. St. game. Last week I did play Col at home against UCLA and lost my thoughts are 1.) would Ariz St. play hard and get a large lead then slow down and let col score some. Im leaning over in this game as I think Ariz St can score at least 40. Thanks as always.

I like Rutgers -7 as my biggest play this week. I don't know why they aren't laying more. The fact that the line hasnt moved is giving me pause however. Im from Syracuse and they have been extremely underwhelming this year while Rutgers has been solid and dependable. I just see Rutgers completely controlling this game. What do you think I noticed you initially liked this game but havent played it yet.

I understand the whole situation favoring troy, but i don't understand you saying troy's defense is the best in the conference. They are terrible, and have given up very high yards per play both on ground and thru the air to bad teams nonetheless. WKU defense is clearly better. The spot is good for troy so they can easily cover, good luck.

I wish I could help you here bud but I have zero read on Colorado. I guess the fact that ASU has Oregon on-deck means they could take the throttle off late in the game, but they may have 50 points by then. Then again, who knows how ASU will respond too the altitude. Just a weird game and I have no clue. I'll root for whichever way you decide to go.

Last nite was a bad break so on to the weekend. 2 games I have some interest in are over Louisville / Pitt and any interest with vandy with the cocks on deck for Fla. Also 1 more N.W. Minny looks like a under game any thoughts please and thanks for the info last nite.

Ferentz typically good as an underdog and horrible as a favorite. Hawkeyes off the bye while Sparty had to fight to get alive of Bloomington and have a trip to Ann Arbor on deck next weekend. The MSU offense is way too inconsistent to be laying DD's in-conference.
And I think he is playing for his 100th win Saturday... Players love him, might over achieve ?

UVA has a good chance of winning this weekend. Sims finally got the starting job at QB, and a key RB will get more carries after getting hurt in the GaTech game. It's also homecoming in C'ville- pretty good crowd that CANT STAND Md as prob it's most disliked ACC team. (Some will say Va Tech- but there are a lot of friends b/w the schools so its more of a friendly rivalry) . This could be the best game to take The Hoos... And def stay away from the Terps who I think have a HORRIBLE coach.

Great bounceback spot for the Boilers who caught a bad matchup with Michigan last week. Wisconsin needs to establish the run to have success, something it will likely have difficulty doing against a solid run defense. Probably won't see a better effort all season from Purdue after last week's beatdown and a complete asskicking last year in Madison.

Bogey - I stuck Vandy in a tease with Rutgers. Just a terrible spot for Florida. Hopefully the 'Dores gained some renewed confidence with the road win at Mizzou. Of the totals, I definitely prefer the NW-MIN under. Northwestern's secondary is still pretty shitty but it's not like Minny has the passing attack to exploit it. You've followed this Gopher team pretty closely and it seems like the defense has been very good to this point, right?
CoverLane- Pretty sure Max Smith is out again which means I cannot go anywhere near Kentucky. Once he returns, there could be some nice value on the 'Cats provided they don't quit on the season
Schiman - Agree with everything you said but I gotta see it first. Love the potential of this team with Sims under center, though.
BigDog - Certainly can't hurt. Hawks have lost by a combined five points in last two trips to East Lansing.
