Why San Antonio will win: Gregg
Popovich's team will make any adjustment they need to in transitioning
from the hot-shooting Warriors to the physical Grizzlies. They have more
consistent outside shooting than Memphis, who won't be able to do much
to respond if Danny Green, Matt Bonner or Kawhi Leonard get hot.
Why Memphis will win: The
Grizzlies have the perimeter defense to neutralize Parker and Manu
Ginobili, and the frontcourt combination of Gasol and Randolph should be
more than enough firepower to combat Duncan.
Did you know?
The Grizzlies beat the Spurs in six games when they met in the playoffs
in 2011 and were only the fourth No. 8 seed in NBA history to upset a
first seed. They were the second team to do so since the first round of
the playoffs expanded to seven games in 2003.

Sounds like Tony have the SAS going to the finals but in 7 games.
Without thinking much Mem seem like the correct play but if one really look into the series, I might have to give the SAS the edge. Im going to lay off game #1 to see how a few matchups play out though.

These teams are completely different than the teams that played in '11. Manu is healthy. The Spurs are a perimeter oriented team with Green, Kawhi providing much of the support. The Grizz rely heavily on Zbo and Marc on offense. And their perimeter D has gotten much better IMO.
The Grizz faced a Clip team w/ Blake hurt and an OKC team w/o Russ. They've played well, but they haven't faced a completely healthy contender yet. I like SA as well.

lol, tony says to wait for game 6 or 7 for a good read.
If you actually read what I said, my suggestion was to use games 1-4 as research and then use that to your advantage in games 5-7. Big difference from the narrow-minded comment that you made.

Prediction: Grizzlies in 7.
that means your predicting the griz will win the 7th game in san antonio. doubtful. would more likely be that the griz would win in six or the spurs win in 7. but this is a series that we have to see unfold-- injuries etcetera. great initiation of discussion. thank you. pop certainly made the adjustments against the warriors. and the warriors wore down (which is odd cause they're younger). green and leanard are huge difference makers. two years ago green and leanard were geroge hill and richard jefferson. splitter was mcdysse. oj mayo filled the tayshon prince minutes. stuff to think about. this time, i believe, san antonio has a slight edge. but that memphis defense is noticeable. tony allen is a superstar, but since he plays defense he's invisible as far as the commercials go.
