I still have my 300 on Michigan at 36 to 1 that I bet since last month. I finally did a cover bet on Villanova moneyline to get a ensure I get atleast a small profit at the worst case so I'm pretty relaxed. Anyways, I hope Michigan wins because I will win more but I really don't think it's happening.
Hope this can be helpful. Some key things I noticed when watched Villanova on offense:
-Spacing is the best I've seen in college basketball. All can shoot 3s.
-Vey unique style. Watch them on offense and you will see they catch and shoot it right away without hesitation. Jay Wright teaches his players this. That you won't be more open than when you first catch it. Catch it, you're open, shoot it. If not open, they drive and can kick it out to open shooters.
-This is how they have great rhythm on offense is because players they excel in this system and style, can tell they are very used to it.
Their offense is scary good. Even when Villanova shot the ball very bad and missed a lot of shots against Texas Tech (good defensive team) they still put up 71. If any other team (even good teams) had that sort of shooting night they would barely get 60. For Michigan to pull off this big upset it will require shots to fall like in the Texas A&M game and they would probably need to get atleast 75 points. I don't see it any other way, as I don't see Villanova scoring less than 70. No way.
final prediction:
Villanova shots won't be going in like they were against Kansas. They went on a crazy run where everything went in, went up 22-4 and Kansas was not able to recover after that. I don't think it will happen to Michigan. If they happen to go down by 10, I trust Beilein and trust they can get stops on defense and can make a run or two to keep it close, within 1 or 2 possessions. Michigan can make it interesting, they have too much character to get blown away. Michigan hangs around for most of the game, but eventually Villanova pulls away late in the 2nd half. 77-68.
