Lines are moving against you because Rory carves up the field this week... I don't believe any of this hooplah...he had his chance to back out last week after shooting 73 day one and didnt... He comes to play this week.

I jumped on the Webb Simpson +130 over Sergio Garcia play.
Simpson T-6th [-5] @ the Northern and 3rd @ Wyndham [-18] Garcia did NOT play the Northern. was a CUT PGA [+8] and T-39th at Bridgestone [+2]
also chanced these mostly off Northern results. went against you on Adam Scott just on "value" and Chappie's Northern performance
Justin Thomas+135 over Jon Rahm Chez Reavie even over Charl Schwartzel Jhonathan Vegas +110 over Gary Woodland Brian Harman even over Ollie Schneiderjans Xander Schauffele -110 over Russell Henley Kevin Chappell +130 over Adam Scott -150
BEST "to win" long shot this week I think is Jhonathan "Short Putz" Vegas. I got him @ 100-1 NOW 80-1. the big Schwarze left at least a dozen birdie putts SHORT the final round OR he would have WON the damn thing

I took a small stab at Webb +450 for a top ten. I figured if he beats Sergio heads up he most likely finishes top 10(or very close). I will take a shot at the +450 vs +130 heads up play.

BOL this week all.
I wish the Las Vegas sportsbooks offered those 'over-under' props "regular season" instead of just the four "majors". I talked to Westgate manager Jay Kornegay about it a while ago and he said just NOT enough interest ex for the Majors. my comeback was "post them and they will get bet" along with "quad" groups and "to make the cut" props. it is obvious you will get NO action IF you do NOT post lines

I am with you Sacker on Fowler over Rory. He flat out cannot continue to swing the way he is... Tiger learned this lesson too late. I hope Rory figures it out before it's too late for him as well.

NICE 2nd round [+3] for tourney [+4] CUT for Rory. you even been watching him PLAY lately ??? I think he will skip the rest of the FedEx series (OUT of the top 30 for the final TOUR Championship tourney as of now) and get ready for Race to Dubai on the Euro Tour where he is still in 9th place. take some time off to get healthy and play the FAT Rolex Series tourneys starting with British Masters late September

SH!T!!! mother fukking Schwartzel birdies #18 to MAKE the CUT [+2] tied with Reavie going into Sunday. NOW I gotta SWEAT the damn match all weekend
at least Adam Scott [+4] and Ollie Schneiderjans [+10] "blew up" so I do NOT have to sweat those

Rory was hitting knockdowns on most of his iron swings from what I saw. He's obviously not healthy and should shut it down. Have any of these guys learned from Tiger? They need to change their swing for long term sustainability. Rory and Day better look in the mirror and then reflect what Tiger has become at the age of 40... They are on the same path...

Couldn't agree more. They did a quick little segment on other golfers talking about Dustins swing, and Rory was the only one to mention how incredibly FLEXIBLE he is. He's powerful, no doubt, but his length comes from how his legs, arms, wrists, core, and back and muscles can twist and turn and get that extra torque. The rest of the guys aren't build like that. Rory, Day, Justin Thomas, Rahm, Spieth...their bodies aren't built like that. And when Rory and Day build up their muscles and try and swing for the fences, I don't think they realize how much damage they are doing. It might look cool and be effective here and there...but I'm with ya. I don't see long term success with these guys.
Phil Mickelson, with his arthritis, caddies, age, gambling issues, insider trading, whatever...is -6 in this tournament. Are Rory and Day going to be able to say the same thing at Phil's age in the Fed-Ex Cup? Hell no. They're going to kill their bodies trying to hit the ball 10 extra yards off the tee and end up taking 10 years off their career.

will disagree that that big Basque bugger Jon Rahm NOT built like Dustin. stand them together and they look the same in size and build with similar golf swings. BOTH have "natural" power without going at it too hard esp off the tee
you can add Jhonathan Vegas to that "natural power" group too. would be in contention a LOT more IF the big schwarze could only PUTT

I completely disagree with your assessment Rat. Rahm is 6'2" and 220 lbs (allegedly) and DJ is 6'4" 190 lbs. I personally think Rahm may be heavier than 220. Regardless two inches shorter and 30 lbs heavier doesn't make them close to the "same in size". Rahm has a very short backswing and takes a pretty violent lash at the ball. DJ is long and incredibly flexible which allows him to create angles many of these guys cannot replicate. The only things they have in common: both are signed with Taylor Made and both have an incredible desire to win. DJ has wonderful taste in women and I am not so sure about Rahm haha jk
Alangrrbs I completely agree with your views. I give Rory a shot at getting better as he is willing to try new things. Did you notice him knocking down his irons in the second round this week? I'm guessing he is trying this swing change to try and save himself from his "normal" swing. Either way though he cannot practice the way he wants to because his swing is so hard. I think Day is a big family man and not sure he is willing to commit the time and effort to get back to the running of that number one in the world status.
I enjoy the banter back and forth and apologize to Sacker for using his thread for these comments...
For my money, the best looking swing on tour is Hideki Matsuyama's. And if Hideki or DJ could put the ball in the hole like Spieth with the flat stick, then we would be talking about either guy having golf world domination.

Love when sports try to claim a weight on someone that is CLEARLY not accurate.
Rory was knocking down shots just to try and get through this week. I'll be interested what he does in his off-season.
I would wager Rory will skip the rest of the FedEx tourneys then plays the British Masters in England in late September for Race to Dubai points as he is still in the top 10 of that series

under the heading of "WTF you pampered poodles", Jhonattan Vegas 3rd round[+3] for tourney [+4] after getting tied 3rd last week [-9] and damn Webb Simpson [+5] for tourney [+5] after tied 6th last week [-5]. THOSE match plays are DEAD
and I KNEW that freeking Charl Schwartzel birdie on #18 Saturday to make the cut was gonna cost me. the bugger NOW one up on Chez Reavie going into Monday
at least Justin Thomas shot the "bomber" [-8] for tourney tied for the lead tourney [-12] over the "Rahm-a-lama Ding Dong" [even] for [-9] BUT the kid did the same at the US Open then "blew up" the final round
