Chievo corner-------->Header------------->Goal
Nobody really argues, everyone center of the pitch, game ready to start again..then... ref gets the call...
VAR
offside... from corner...

specimen some nice points above
However, while you are right I wouldn't have made this post if I hadn't a big bet on this game (or if the goal disallowed wasn't in my favor), this has nothing to do with reasons I hate VAR. I don't even care about such things in games, will even out in the long run. VAR won't affect my winning/losing so no disliking there.
I hate it (or how it is implemented to be more precise) for following reasons
- ruins flow of game way too often (myself I can't really watch NBA and NFL because of so many interruptions, breaks etc)
- goes agains the spirit of some rules. Would you like to start seeing game stopped and offsides called for a millimeter for example? There should be some common sense behind it. If no real controversy or whatever, no need to use it imo
- there is no specific and ambiguous method of using VAR and until this is sorted out somehow I can't see it helping football
Cheers and Happy New Year
