Lsu was favored by 42 over No.tex one year and won 41-3...last year was their best year 10-4 ATS, thats after years of going 5-7 ATS for so long, so i suspect they have down year ATS wise...
...ND overvalued? really? thats not what i see, last year they were favored by 23(and covered) over navy, this year its 13, seems a tad bit low...
USC is very overvalued, and that DEF needs to be more consistant...

Texas A&M finished last year with a disappointing 7-6 record and they were just 4-9 ATS last year. They lost their best player in Ryan Tannehill to the NFL Draft and are going to struggle to replace him. Currently battling for the spot are redshirt freshman Johnny Manziel, r-Fr Jameill Showers (5 career pass attempts) and freshman Matt Davis. Inexperience will no doubt be a factor for A&M QB's throughout this season, although it may not show as badly until SEC play. On the offensive line, A&M returns 95 career starts. They are very experienced on the O-line which should protect the QB. they also return two good WR's in Ryan Swope and Uzoma Nwachukwu, both had very productive seasons last year. swope had 1207 yds last year and Nwachukwu had 639. A&M has a r-Fr kicker.
On D- A&M loses two 300lb D-Tackles. They also lose three in the secondary that already struggled to defend the pass last year. They should be ok at LB, with Three seniors returning, all with experience. They have a Sophomore Punter. A&M also has a new coach in Kevin Sumlin, coming over from Houston.
LaTech is returning Sr. QB Colby Cameron, who struggled last year and eventually lost the job to ross Jenkins, who is no longer there. They have a few other guys who will compete to push Cameron, and with the return of 4 quality WR's, the QB play should get much better in 2012. The 4 receivers of mention are Myles White, David Gru, DJ Banks (Tulane Transfer), and Quinton Patton. each of these guys is capable of catching passes for 1000 yards in the WAC this year. This is the best WR group Sonny Dykes has had in three years at La Tech and the best in a while. La La Tech also returns 92 career starts on the O-Line and 9 of the top 10 contributors. The o-line is very experienced and should give the QB time to analyze any Defense A&M throws out there.
La Tech will have a mediocre D-Line, which returns two starters. their secondary will be solid, with the return of Chad Boyd and seniors Jamel Johnson and Dave Clark. This Secondary should be better than last years, although the numbers may not reflect that. The front four are going to struggle to get pressure on the QB.
I really feel like the in-experience of the QB for Texas A&M will keep La Tech very much in this game. La Tech should be able to move the football on offense and should put up points. Both QB's should be protected with veteran O-Lines and drives should not stall because of sacks or pressure picks. Texas A&M has put up 46,48 and 41 points in their last three season openers. The last time they played La Tech, the spread was 19 in favor of A&M and the final was 48-16 A&M. If the o/u is around 58, i would lean over.
i was looking at LaTech also, Latech is stronger this year according to Phil Steele, and Tx A$M going thru changes...
but when i looked at the history, wow, Tx A$M 10-0 vs La tech, i was like man i thought i had a good dogg, GL

Do what you will but I wouldn't lay 43-45 on LSU no matter what the situation. They struggle too much on offense. Much better situations will present themselves in wk 1

I was hoping to gather some opinions on western michigan vs illinois.
I LOVE what WMU brings to the table, but i am scared to touch them in week one because they usually play poorly against the usual B10 schools that they play every year.
I think the line will open at +12.5 or so and the o/u at 51.5...
***when responding please assume that i have already thoroughly researched Illinois and WMU completely, so i do not need to be educated on Alex Carder, Nate Scheelhause (sp?) or anyone else on either team,

Does anyone follow the OP of this thread? I didn't follow covers last year as I have always relied on different sources. I usually stay in the SEC(betting) and his first post regarding AU shows he obviously doesn't have a reliable source with SEC football. I was just curious. And NO, I am not posting this because I am a Bama homer. I've bet on AU plenty of times. I do not let my school colors get in the way of making a solid betting decision.

What are you bringing? Your info looks like you have thrown a dart with a blind-fold on! Auburn..."incredibly athletic"...in argualbly the toughest conference (SEC West) in the country and having a chance to win the SEC title. Dude, go sell your bullshit to someone that doesn't know...you stupid and worthless fuck. You've been exposed and we haven't even kicked the season off yet. YOU BRING SOMETHING!!! Are you blind or brain dead you worthless sack of shit. I would love for you to voice your SEC opinion to fairly unbiased SEC writers/reporters ( i . e. schlabach and barnhart) and you would be a re-confirmed dumbass!! I will not voice my opinion on your other conference write-ups as I do not know, nor do I care! However, when I see dumb...I see dumb!!

Funny, I never claimed to want to argue with writers or reporters or claimed to be in the "know"
I never said that auburn would win the SEC Title, but that they might be one of 5 teams that COULD have a chance with a few games left.
I guess its people like you tho with 55 career covers posts and people who NEVER post any winning picks that piss off all the quality cappers. I have been on this sight now for three years and have posted every play i have made during that time.
I have never posted a losing season. and last year picked nearly 60%.
you might Claim to know what you are talking about, but i have proven it with winning plays for over 1000 days.

As I stated earlier, I am new to covers. However, you don't seem to pay attention. Also, I have been betting MLB ,which once again, I do not know too much about! I have admitted that I can't criticize your other opinions...they could be spot on or dead wrong. I have no clue. So, quit trying to twist MLB picks (currently -$55 on the year) with the subject of focus...SEC football! I'm a realist. Post my links to MLB picks. Fight for any "ammo" you can to defend yourself. Bottom line, we are talking about a single post of yours that is absolutely absurd.
I think I saw you were going to Dallas for Bama v. Michigan? I'd love to meet up and have a drink and talk SEC football.
Also, I am interested to know your team of choice in CF? Whoever it is, I guarantee I will respect it. I'm just curious.

I do pay attention, i am more excited for CFB than anyone on this site, i research from april thru august before making any plays, put hours into my research, and will have a winning season this year, yet again.
you have criticized every opinion i have made, and the biggest one about ONE SENTANCE that said auburn is athletic and might be in the mix
this is a betting sight for people to post winning plays, you act like a tough ass and act like you know everything, when in reality you have 0 credibility here
I will be in dallas on sept 1st in jerry's world. i dont want to argue with you about anything because i said sometihng nice about auburn and YOU like alabama...fact of the matter is, i like niether one of those teams and have no loyalty to either. just an observation.

Listen to this post. this is my first experience with you. DOES ANYONE FOLLOW THE OP OF THIS THREAD? what the hell are you looking for with this question? HIS FIRST POST REGARDING AU SHOWS HE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT HAVE A RELIABLE SOURCE WITH SEC FOOTBALL. what the hell does that mean? what are you trying to prove here?
you want to know what conference i have inside information on, the WAC. but does that mean I am only going to bet the WAC? no. does it mean i can thoroughly research games/teams/conferences and because i played major College football i know more than the average person about what to look for, what teams/players go through, how grueling a season is, how hard it is to go undefeated, how easily a slip up can happen. YES
I have had such a shitty first interaction with you BamaPiks and i hope for your sake you change your tune because you calling people out will get you no where on this sight, other than maybe 5 months worth of posting before you change to a new user name.

I pretty much eat, sleep and breathe SEC football 365 days a year, and I derive a significant portion of my annual income from wager on college football. I cannot afford to be wrong. I have way too much money riding on it.
That said, I can tell you without hesitation that the Auburn football program is a complete train wreck right now, and I will be fading them in 4 of their first 5 games, and maybe all 5.
Hahahahahaha. You just posted this!! Wow, you are killing me dude!! Now, you are exposing your own self. If you follow the SEC 365 days a year then why did your post do a 180 degree turn from your April post to tonight's post? Wow!!!!

"Auburn looks destined to start the season 1 & 4, and it's doubtful they'll be able to win 5 of their last 7 to become bowl eligible. They would have to sweep Mississippi, Vandy and Texas A&M to have a shot. My guess is they'll probably lose at least one of those. The high water mark for this team is 6 & 6.
If they don't become bowl eligible, my guess is that Chizik will be gone."
You have showed your hand! I rest my case! BOL to you. Have a great season. Seriously, I wish you well. Take care.

I tell you what. As stated earlier, I'm a realist. Maybe I did bust your balls on your SEC opinion too hard. I hope you are spot on with your other info. BOL and l am leaving this subject alone. I don't have time to keep arguing. Take care.

Yeah, I totally made a mistake with my post jdnmoney did not type those posts. However, I do agree with them.
I don't have a vendetta against you. I don't know you. Life's too short to hate someone or have vendettas!
It was my mistake. I'm dropping my argument with you but I am 99.9% confident that by mid-season your AU post will be completely wrong. However, BOL to you this season.
