Should not have gotten involved in this ball game but it is irrelevant size wise in comparison to to our NBA and NHL plays which is why I posted it close to game time. I am not a fan of wagering on game sevens and I honestly went back and forth on this game all day both on the side and the total. Congrats to Astros backers but in a sports sense it is a shame people did not get to see a decent ball game. People who think this was one of the better world series are out of their minds it is not even in the top 20, only a juiced ball is the reason it had any excitement at all.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

Don't sweat it, Polar. Your NBA and NHL picks are great. Trying to get an adequate grip on this WS besides Darvish or Giles imploding was very difficult to do.

HOH no sweat, just kinda mad at myself because honestly I did ot have a feel for this game all day but being a big game I forced a play, mad at myself for that.
I'm gonna play some music now and enjoy a drink....Just a shame this game is a blowout.

Please stop with the juiced ball conspiracy. Were the balls juiced in games 1, 3, 4, 6 or 7 when all the games were 8 runs or fewer despite the fact that both mangers were pulling starters after giving up 1 hit or 1 run?
Further, if you found no excitement or joy in this postseason, then I feel bad for you. This was one of the most exciting series ever and will go down in history that way. Too bad you are feeling the way you are though....sad for you.

Everyone has their own opinion. I found this WS wild at times - but for the most part, it was waaaay to analytical for me. I may be off base here - but last year was far more exciting. Maybe the Cub factor and the 3-1 comeback on the road was some of it....but this just seemed to be either strikeout or HR for the most part. Also, where are the personalities? Pretty dry. LOL, bring back Pete Rose with The Big Hurt.

You are correct Irish....everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, the juiced ball nonsense is just a total joke. The bottom line is that Roberts did a poor job in managing his starters and asking his pen to do too much. Roberts should not have pulled Hill after 4 innings in game 2 when he was cruising, nor Wood in game 4 after 5+ after he had his no hitter broken up in the 6th (it was a home run). Roberts taxed his pen unnecessarily in those games and paid the price.
So, all the juiced ball nonsense and the commentary of how anyone that found this series entertaining or exciting must be "out of their minds" is some of the stupidest shi# I have ever seen on Covers. #SOUR_GRAPES

The ball IS different. Even the players have said so this season. But bigger factor is approach towards hitting (all or nothing) and pitching (same!) And yes, it's the same ball for everyone, so no excuses.
