These are my 2 favorite picks. I think GM's know that with the direction the nba is headed in, shooters are worth more than anything with slower defensive minded centers who cant shoot being more of a liability at times. Teams will like the press that trae young brings (escpecially the magic who have been unheard of by just about everyone for the last few years) while someone like bamba is riskier than ever after seeing what happened with hassan whiteside, who i believe is a clone of bamba. The only way he will go top 5 is if the mavs pick him at 5, and i think being in the east they would rather take porter jr, have him sit out for a year to get another top 5 pick next year and then be ready to compete. Cuban loves tanking afterall.
What do you guys think? Lemme hear your thoughts on these two picks as well as other predictions
one last thing: magic have a stockpile of centers and PF with just about no one at point guard. I dont see any way they pass on trae young. That man will be off the board at 6

Have to say I disagree with both of those picks. BOL to you. Young is gonna be a bust and the Mavs will take Bamba if nothing crazy happens in picks 1-4

Pace of NBA has increased for 5-6 years. If you date back, only a few teams were that type of run and shoot (houston, golden state, denver basically) and now trends have changed. That does not mean that it will keep rolling for next years.
Traditional big centers are disappearing right now, but what about some change of mind? Some coach comes up and bring a bright idea how to stop those shooters and force them get into perimeter/rim? Players like Ayton and Embiid can surpass them in such cases. I think it's a good bet for future to have players drafted early like Ayton, Bagley III and Bamba.

gonna say Jazz, Mavs, Suns and Bucks were the winners of the draft.
Mavs will end up being the clear cut winner here when we look back on this very weak draft 5 years from now...the talent pool of this years college crop of players was very average at best..dare i say more than half of the players drafted in the first round will have a hard time sticking to any roster when they hit 30...they just arent anything special...which means the league will be full of mediocre players and teams for a very long time, as i see future drafts being very similar to this one...the league is like netflix right now...they are both desperate for content and will take whatever they can get to fulfill the need of the consumer, even if the product ends up being less than stellar.
Doncic will be the one player who will outshine everyone else from day one, and has the ability to become a really special player....Mavs got a gem at #5 and should be applauded mightily.
Denver also could come out of this draft smelling like a rose if Porter indeed is healthy...thats a big if.
Sleeper pick in the 1st rd was Nets getting Muza...the guy can play and held his own versus men in euroleague...Nets quietly are doing some very good things with their team, not sure how Dwight will fit in, but if he finally buys into team first concepts and just focuses on defense and rebounds and blocks, Nets might be a player for the 8th seed soon and could very well be an attractive place for free agents if JayZ plays the "celebrity" card

Right on the nail, weak draft class. There were alot of players that did not stood out for me. But the Mavs definitely killed this draft.Jalen Brunson was also a nice pick in round 2. And they picked up Greek Freak's younger brother?? Never seen him play but the name sounded familiar
