This schedule is just nuts.. No games today or tomorrow. We all have to wait until Friday night.
Just putting some thoughts to paper (or computer I should say).
The Lynx are going to be very hard to beat. Yes they were poor the other night vs Liberty but this team is just built for championships. Fowles is having an amazing season and if she doesn't get reg season MVP, then I don't know who deserves it more than her. She is backed up by Moore, Brunson, Whalen and Augustus. When one or two players have a bad night, the others pick up. Thats qualities of a championship winning team. Their bench is just awesome as well with Montgomery, Perkins, Howard and Pierson. The Sparks on the other hand don't seem to be in the same space as last season. They are barely getting passed teams they should be beating easily. Parker isn't herself but she is going through a divorce right now and their bench is just weak. Sims is not the replacement of Toliver, I said that at the start of the season and she went something like 1-10 yesterday I think in the game vs Storm. The Sun has to be the biggest surprise package of the season, this team is balling hard right now and their starting 5 is awesome. Just like Lynx, when a player has a bad night, the others step up. Stricklen was poor last night vs the Sky but the other members were brillant. Jones is just double/doubling every game, her size in the paint can't be stopped. Their bench is deep as well and I really hope they go far this season in the post-season. They have the Mystics on Friday night in Washington which is a massive game as the tie-breaker is currently 1-1 and the winner of this game will clinch that tie-breaker which might come down to the very end with playoff seedings.
Remember, the WNBA is now the top 8 seeds regardless of conference. They currently sit like this.

I like watching the women, but boy oh boy has my wallet hated them this year.
Big game for you and your +750 futures play Aussie.....I expect the Sun will bring it home for you.
I'm really liking Sykes of the Dream right now....a rookie, she gets to the basket really well, she's twice the player that Plum is. She's had two ACL surgeries too...just goes to show how great the modern surgeries are now in getting players back to high performance levels.
I would not be surprised if the Lynx trade Maya Moore in the off season, maybe to the Sun....she's been mediocre and the Sun have a lot of pieces especially with Ogwumike coming back for them next year.

Durrant, George, Butler, Love have changed teams. Irving and Anthony look like they will be moving. There is a 50-50 chance that James will move teams after this year.
Della Donne moved last year. Moore is not playing like an all-star (except in the all-star game), but like the fourth best player on the best team.
We clearly disagree that she could move. I'd move her for the right deal, and if the Sun offered Ogwumike (if healthy) and a Sun starter, I would take it. And, if I'm the Sun I don't know if I take that deal

I just don't see the pace being to high, Zellous shouldn't be at 100%, ind has bigs to limit charles a bit, no need to push tempo, both benches not producing much shouldn't reach 80s

Still not a pick, but i went to my closet, picked a hat and took it off for Aussie!! You´re the man!
(Hopefully this "take my hat off expression is used in US and Australia, otherwise this will seem very akward)
Thanks Portugueezer. I understand your expression mate.. Its been a good contest so far and plenty of time still to go because don't forget it includes the playoffs as well.

Two teams that do like to push the pace in games. The Dream can score at home and the Lynx are averaging over 90 on the road. This game could be a very close game as the Dream do handle home court very well..
P.S Boucek will be fired sometime very soon according to my reports. Be careful taking the Storm today as the players have gone to the GM and have asked her to be sacked

Get off your high horse.....your condescending tone shows immaturity. I'm from the area, so yes, I have some knowledge of the Lynx and no, this isn't my first W season, and so what if it was?
Making definitive statements that "you know" is garbage. We can disagree which I'm fine with, but the "you're dumb because you don't agree with me" vibe lacks class.
The climate now is that players are moving, even the untouchables. Lebron has moved from his home town and may move again.
