One little note before I hit my top 15 QBs. Last year was last year. It's whiskey under the bridge. Although these are subject to change, this is where I stand heading into July.
Qb Rankings
1. Peyton Manning - If you know anything about Peyton Manning it is that he lives for the regular season. This guy is a stat collecting, credit monger who wants nothing more than to capture all records. Although I don't see a repeat of last year, you can certainly bank on 300+ yard, multiple TDs on the reg. I'm thinking somewhere around 38-45 TDs. Ultimately, I'm not willing to spend what its going to cost to get Manning in any type of league. He will be a first rounder, and as you'll see, with the depth at this position, it poses too much of a risk to take on a 38 year old, who looks like Timmy from South Park. He doesn't even need a chin strap to hold that oversized dome piece on and I'd be shatting myself every time his keester hits the floor. Verdict: Let someone else take him.
2. Drew Brees - He's Powerman 5000. Nobody comes close to him the last 5 years in passing yards. He's going to throw it 40 times a game. He has the best play calling coach in the league, catering to his arm. A lot of people won't have Brees at their number 2 spot but its crazy not to. If you want a routine top 3 QB and can snarf him up in the 2nd round, by all means do so. He churns out massive yardage/TD totals and is always liable to rock the cradle with a lay up of his own, from time to time. I don't worry about Nawlins run game either. Between elaborate screen passes and dump offs, the backs will platoon per usual for sub standard touches.
3. Andrew Luck - Since his rookie year, Luck has been nothing but stunning. Now, huddling up a revamped offense neck beard city will be pirating booty all over the National Football field. His ability to run, score TD's on his feet make him the nastiest white boy on turf. The Cam Newton with weapons if you will. I see his decision-making getting a lot better, which of course means fewer picks. At home the defensive side of the football can hold its own, all the while, dominating the AFC South. I think he's an absolute steal if people are going to jump early on these other QB's.
4. Robert Griffin III - The knee has since healed up and the brace will be gone. Couple that with the hiring of Jay Gruden and DeSean Jackson and this whole Redskins name change debate will finally be put to bed. Straight Savages! "The Washington Savages" (trademark). No body will take offense to that. Speed kills. This squad is going to march up and down the field. And yes, injury risk worries me, but his ability to win you weeks is worth the taking. Again, like Luck, he's a QB you want on your squad. Go ahead and get yourself a reliable back up just in case he’s unable to hold up.
5. Aaron Rodgers - He has all the talent but he's not the number 1 stunna he used to be. No wonder State Farm shelved those ads because since his injuries he's become a pocket passer. And that's it. And lets face it, the defense does not stop anybody. Now I wouldn't be shocked if Rodgers comes out ballin, but the WR corps TE situation isn't giving me a hard on. Most people have Rodgers in their top 3 but not me. Let someone else blow his load early on the big name… Plenty of plums still ripe for the picking.
6. Mathew Stafford - We all know Stafford is a guy who can single handedly win you your week. I love how Schwartz is finally out, Christ almighty, Detroit you poor bastards. Rarely do you see complete and utter unqualified personnel running the show. Well, maybe in Dallas you do. I Digress. Given this new offense I feel like they can become the Saints of their division. The Bears, Packers and Vikings are all looking like muff cabbage D's right now. I think Stafford goes early this year, because of the new additions, but I'm always weary for those stinker games he's been known to put up. We all saw what happened when Calvin is limited or out of the game.
7. Matt Ryan - Last year was a nightmare on Elm. The Falcons could not wait for the season to end. Harry Douglas may have been the only bright spot. Enter 2014, and I'm buying multiple stocks with this team. The news of Hard Knocks is really a non-issue to me. The NFC south is a tough division and only getting better, but this team will win its fair share of shootouts. Matty Ice will make for a solid QB who you can take with your 5th or 6th pick depending on how fast QBs are flying off the board. Take him with confidence.
8. Tom Brady - Where is the respect for Thomas Edward Brady? Last year was a down year but he was throwing to a bunch of UPS drivers. The rookie connections will be a lot better. Gronk will be back, and if Ammendola doesn't crush so many asses in the greater area of Boston maybe his groin will hold up. Of course Edelman is going to keep the chain gang on their toes as well. I see the Pats going after another WR to add to the fold and New England's defense will be STOUT. While many will remain sour on the thought of last year, take Brady with brio, as he's primed for a solid season. Getting arguably the best QB of all time at a discount is truly a beautiful thing.

While many will remain sour on the thought of last year, take Brady with brio, as he's primed for a solid season. Getting arguably the best QB of all time at a discount is truly a beautiful thing.
9. Russell Wilson - This is my Gruden Grinder. Mr. Consistent across the board. Optimal field position at all times. A healthy Percy Harvin will make all the difference increasing his attempts and passing yards unlike the last couple of years. By now you've probably noticed my yearning for dual threat QBs who can take off and run. Wilson is the smarter, safer version of RG3 and I have no qualms rolling with him as my starter.
10. Colin Kaepernick - If you rolled with Kaep last year, no doubt you’re probably using Rogaine as we speak. He put the consistent in inconsistency. Even against sub par teams, he would barely eclipse 20 pass attempts. If you were unable to get Foles on the waiver wire, simply put, you hit the iceberg going full steam ahead. It changes this year. The Niners threw a bread truck at him during the off-season, and Harbaugh is finally going to let him do his thing. Although I worry about the strong defensive play throughout the NFC West, Kaep will take the reigns and make himself the alpha dog on a solid and stacked team. People will be hesitant to take him, but if he falls far enough don't be afraid to snatch him. Just be sure to grab an insurance policy in case they decide to run the ball 40 times a game with their never-ending stable of RB's.
11. Cam Newton - I love Cam Copenhagen Wintergreen Newton but I'm not touching him this year. The depleted WR corps, the ankle surgery, it all spells for disaster in my eyes. Most people will have Cam in the top 6 but I can't fathom the big yardage days when your numero uno is Greg Olsen. Maybe they go out and add a WR, but this team will make its bones on winning low scoring defensive battles. Unless the Panthers help him out on the offensive side of the ball, I see Cam taking a step back. Perhaps even a giant step back. Let someone else take him early on physical stature alone.
12. Nick Foles - Was last year a fluke? I don't think so. Chip Kelly in his first year showed us all that he could translate to the NFL. Even with the loss of DeSean I still think Foles is capable of throwing up monster games. The best part about big person Nick is the NFC East and the paltry defenses that he will shred. The Eagles up-tempo offense will give ample opportunity to stack some serious points. However, like Kaepernick I would roster another respectable QB if in case he falters in his second year as a starter.
13. Jay Cutler - I really think Jay Cut-U-Up is the one guy outside the top 10 who could vault to the top 5. Similar to Foles, he's in an offense that accommodates his rocket arm. I love the coach and even more than that I love his weapons that surround him. Chicago knows that their D is in the toilet so look for them to score 30+ points a game. Health is always the conversation pertaining to Cutler so as I've said before get an admirable backup in case he strains his vagina.
14. Tony Romo - Romo is a product of his environment. Like the Dallas Cowboys, he's very inconsistent. He may not be a great NFL QB but he does produce fantasy wise. I may be meddling too much on his injured back, but it’s surely a cause for concern. That Dallas D is an ulcer waiting to happen for anyone repping America's long forgotten team. Shootouts baby! That is the recipe for this organization. High scoring affairs on the road and in that carnival they call a stadium. Although I do believe he has the ability to put together a good year, I also reserve the right to go elsewhere when choosing a maestro for my fantasy squad.
15. Phillip Rivers - Last year Rivers was the come back player of the year. Guy was playing out of his mind throwing up gaudy numbers. However, losing Ken Wissenhunt hurts. He really helped matriculate the ball down the field with a relatively unknown cast of characters. Now that we're familiar with these players I expect him to put forth an admirable season much like last year. Rivers is a guy you can really wait on. No body's frothing at the mouth trying to snag him early. In fact most people want to launch a straight right hand at his punchable face. But make no mistake; he's got like 9 kids to feed. He'll show up and do his job. If you’re a guy who refuses to take a QB early, then good ol Phillip is the man for you.
Bounce back Candidates of the year
Eli Manning – We’ve all seen Eli do it up real big. And then he shits his britches. And then balls outta control. And then he is back to looking like Eor from Whinnie the Pooh. He’s a god damn light switch for crying out loud. Eli makes for a good backup if your gambling with an injury risk player.
Joe Flacco – “I’m elite!” Must love his attitude. The Ravens looked like a dumpster fire last year. This was not Joey’s fault. He’ll have his favorite target back in Pitta. Torrey Smith is a DeSean Jackson type player and Steve Smith will get his looks too. Given the fact that the running game is in shambles and Ray Ray could barely even fall forward, I see Flacco throwing the ball more than he’s ever been asked to do so. Another solid backup to roll with.
Rookie to watch
Teddy Bridgewater - If it truly is an open competition between Ponder, Cassel and Teddy KGB then I think he's the starter going into week 1. New head coach Mike Zimmer takes zero garbage whatsoever and will play the best man available. He drafted Teddy! He inherited the other two. Bridgewater gives them the best chance to win games… Plain and simple. They have the tools around him for success. As far as a rookie goes, while everyone is taking Johnny football, take The Black Russian with your last pick instead of some RB/WR you'll end up dropping anyway. Just a little tale: I always like to use my last pick on a rookie QB who I think will ball out. People laughed when I took Cam Newton and then Andrew Luck the year after. We all know how that story played out.

RG3 over Rodgers?
Only a pocket passer since injuries? His first game back against Chicago he rolls left avoiding the sack and finds Cobb deep for the game winner. By your reasoning he's Dan Marino or Manning and can't move at all. At worst he's #3, no way he's #5.

While many will remain sour on the thought of last year, take Brady with brio, as he's primed for a solid season. Getting arguably the best QB of all time at a discount is truly a beautiful thing.
Says the Packer fan... Most people will have Rodgers in their top 2 I know this. With RGlll, you will not have to invest in a top 20 pick to acquire him. Rodgers will go early, if your willing to pay the fee then go with him.

1. Luck will be best qb in the league at one point. But currently they like to run the ball way too much in Indy for him to be top 3. Can he do it oh hell yes he can. Will they let him. Probably not.
2. Rodgers is top 3 without question
3. Romo gonna go boom. As in have a great statistical year. Dallas has no defense. Reminds me of Orleans a few years back. They lost all their talent. They already like to throw and brought in our OC who likes to throw more than anyone.
4. Why is rivers still getting disrespected off best season in years???
I can agree with most others. And some I disagree but can see where your coming from.

Yes this is in terms of fantasy. I'm simply painting a picture as to who has the most value considering where they will be drafted. Theirs always going to be differing opinions in terms of taking a QB early, late, drafting one or three guys that you can rotate based on match ups. I want a guy like like Luck or RG3 who I can grab with my 4, 5, or even 6 pick. Just to be sure I get one of them I'm willing to take them a bit early. If health becomes an issue then I can rely on a guy like romo, cutler, Eli, Big Ben, dalton, flacco, and so on and so forth. Bring out the haters.. I see RG3 having a year like his rookie season if not better, making him a very hot commodity.

I like your list and agree with you on Foles and Cutler. Cutler will fault into the top 10 because they overhauled the whole defense. Bears will be beasts this year.
