Kellen Moore threw three touchdown passes, Doug Martin rushed for two scores and No. 8 Boise State recovered from a sluggish start to record a 36-14 victory over visiting Wyoming on Saturday.

Moore’s Hail Mary touchdown pass to Matt Miller on the final play of the first half gave the Broncos (10-1, 5-1 Mountain West) their first lead as part of 36 unanswered points by Boise State after nearly 29 scoreless minutes.

Wyoming (7-4, 4-2) struggled on offense with just 177 total yards. Its first points came when Luke Anderson intercepted Moore and returned it 29 yards for a touchdown just five minutes into the game.

The Cowboys maintained the advantage until Martin scored on a 2-yard run with 1:10 left in the half. Disaster struck on the final play when Moore’s 46-yard toss to the end zone landed in the hands of a prone Miller on the goal line to give the Broncos a 13-7 lead. Wyoming’s Tashaun Gipson deflected the ball and then tipped it and it fell right into the hands of Miller.

Moore threw third-quarter scoring passes of 10 yards to Kyle Efaw and 17 yards to Gabe Linehan. Martin, who rushed for 163 yards, scored on a 2-yard run early in the fourth quarter to boost Boise State’s lead to 36-7.

Wyoming’s Brett Smith threw an 8-yard scoring pass to Josh Doctson in the final quarter.

Boise State has won 10 or more games in six straight season, matching Virginia Tech for the longest current active streak.
