Braxton Miller threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Devin Smith with 20 seconds left as host Ohio State delivered another stunning loss to No. 11 Wisconsin with a 33-29 victory on Saturday.

Miller added a pair of rushing scores and Jordan Hall scored a touchdown for the Buckeyes (5-3, 2-2 Big Ten), who are trying to avoid the school’s first four-loss campaign since 2004.

This marks the second week in a row the Badgers (6-2, 2-2) had their hopes dashed on a long pass after losing at Michigan State on a game-ending Hail Mary last week.

Ohio State held a 26-14 lead with four minutes to go but watched it slip away when Russell Wilson needed only 51 seconds to make it 26-21 and another 78 seconds to give Wisconsin the lead when he hit Jared Abbrederis with touchdown passes of 17 and 49 yards.

The Buckeyes had 1:18 left and Hall gave them strong field position with a 42-yard kickoff return to near midfield. They got a first down and Miller, who had thrown for only 49 yards up to that point, scrambled to the right on the winning play and unleashed the ball just shy of the line of scrimmage.

Smith got behind the defense and snared it in the end zone.
