Tyler Bray threw four touchdowns - two to his new go-to receiver Da’Rick Rogers - and Tennessee rolled to a 41-10 victory over visiting Buffalo on Saturday in its first game without Justin Hunter.

DeAnthony Arnett also had a pair of touchdown catches for Tennessee, which is 3-1 for the first time since 2006. The Volunteers ended a four-game losing streak in October and improved to 8-0 all-time against teams from the Mid-American Conference.

Buffalo (1-4), meanwhile, has lost 11 of 12. It was only the second time the Bulls have faced a team from the Southeastern Conference. Buffalo lost to Auburn, 38-7, in the only other contest in 2006.

The Bulls couldn’t contain Bray, who extended his school record to 10 straight games with at least two touchdown passes despite missing his favorite target. Hunter, who was ranked 10th nationally in receiving, suffered a torn ACL in a loss to Florida prior to Tennessee’s bye week.

Luckily for the Volunteers, Rogers is also one of the best young receivers in the country. The 6-3, 215-pound sophomore had six catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, helping Tennessee to a 31-7 advantage.

Chazz Anderson had a 68-yard touchdown run for Buffalo, which was seeking its second-ever win over a BCS opponent.
