Russell Wilson completed 28-of-45 passes for 276 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead North Carolina State to a 23-7 victory over No. 23 West Virginia on Tuesday in the Champs Sports Bowl at Orlando, Fla.

Josh Czajkowski kicked three field goals of 38 yards or longer for the Wolfpack (9-4), who became the first team all season to score more than 21 points against the Mountaineers' defense.

Wilson got it started in the first quarter, finding Mustafa Greene with a 16-yard pass down the middle to put NC State on top. West Virginia tied it in the second but Czajkowski kicked a 45-yard field goal just before the half to send the Wolfpack into the locker room up, 10-7.

Two more field goals in the third turned it into a two-score game and West Virginia (9-4) could not get anything going offensively, turning the ball over four times.

The Mountaineers forced NC State to punt with 5:02 remaining but Jock Sanders fumbled the kick, giving the Wolfpack the ball back on the West Virginia 7-yard line. Wilson found Jarvis Williams three plays later with a 7-yard touchdown pass to put the game away.
