Recap: Arizona 44, Washington 14

Keola Antolin and Nic Grigsby scored two touchdowns apiece as No. 18 Arizona kept its Pac-10 Conference title hopes alive with a 44-14 victory over Washington on Saturday night.

Antolin scored on runs of 78 yards and 1 yard in the first half, and Grigsby had a pair of 4-yard touchdown runs - one in each half - as the Wildcats (6-1, 3-1) stayed within one game of Oregon. Antolin finished with 114 yards.

Matt Scott, filling in for injured starter Nick Foles, was 18 of 22 for 233 yards and two touchdowns for Arizona. He also rushed for 64 yards.

Jake Locker, who reportedly played with bruised ribs, was 17 of 29 for 183 yards and a touchdown for Washington (3-4, 2-2). He was replaced in the fourth quarter by backup Keith Price.

Grigsby's first touchdown gave Arizona a 30-10 lead at halftime.

Scott's 17-yard touchdown pass to David Roberts in the first half tied the game 7-7 after Locker had connected with Jamaal Kearse for a 26-yard touchdown.

Juron Criner finished with eight receptions for 107 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter for Arizona, which outgained Washington 469-288.

Chris Polk scored on a 7-yard run in the second quarter for the Huskies, who had 16 penalties for 144 yards.
