Recap: Cincinnati 45, Miami (Ohio) 3

Zach Collaros passed for three touchdowns and Cincinnati scored 28 points in the first quarter en route to a 45-3 rout of Miami (Ohio) on Saturday night.

Cincinnati (2-4) rolled up 609 yards of offense and snapped a three-game losing streak in beating a team from the FBS level for the first time this season.

Miami's only score came on Trevor Cook's 48-yard field in the second period were the only points for the RedHawks (3-3).

Neither team scored in the second half as the Bearcats were content to keep the ball on the ground, and the RedHawks failed to generate any offense.

Collaros completed 14 of 17 passes for 216 yards. Isaiah Pead rushed for 197 yards on 10 carries, including an 80-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Collaros hit Armon Binns for a 48-yard score 18 seconds into the game. The Bearcats also scored on D.J. Woods' 18-yard run, another touchdown pass from Collaras to Binns for 32 yards, and Pead's long run.

After Cook's field goal one minute into the second quarter, the Bearcats added 17 points. Jake Rogers kicked a 24-yard field goal, John Goebel scored on a two-yard run, and Collaros hit Ben Guidugli for a six-yard score.

Miami quarterback Zac Dysert completed 22 of 35 passes for 165 yards.
