Clock management has been an ongoing issue for LSU and coach Les Miles. Maybe they’re finally getting the hang of it.

In another wacky finish for the Tigers, LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee found Terrance Tolliver in the back of the end zone with 6 seconds left to give the Tigers an improbable 33-29 victory over the Gators in The Swamp.

The winning 10-play drive included a fake field goal in which kicker Josh Jasper ran for the first down after scooping up an over-the-shoulder toss from the holder on the bounce. The play was close to being a forward pass, but after 4 minutes of review, replay officials ruled it was a lateral.

LSU improves to 6-0, 4-0 in the SEC; Florida (4-2, 2-2) suffered its second straight loss.

LSU looked to have the game under control after Jordan Jefferson scored his second touchdown to put the Tigers up 26-14 early in the fourth period. But Andre Debose took the ensuing kickoff back 88 yards to trim the deficit to 26-21.

Florida took the lead after Mike Gillislee punctuated a 10-play, 80-yard drive with a 5-yard run, which put Florida up 27-26. John Brantley's pass to Frankie Hammond for the two-point conversion made it 29-26 with three minutes left to play.

LSU defeated Tennessee on the final play last week after getting another chance after the Vols had 13 players on the field.

LSU's Stevan Ridley led all rushers with 84 yards on 28 carries. Florida’s John Brantley completed 16 of 23 passes for 153 yards.
