Top-ranked Alabama forced four turnovers and coasted to a 31-6 home victory against No. 7 Florida despite being outgained by the Gators on Saturday.

Alabama (5-0, 2-0 SEC) gained only 269 total yards, compared to Florida's 277, but the Crimson Tide made the most of turnovers and field position to build a 24-0 lead and cruise to their 19th consecutive regular-season win.

The Crimson Tide intercepted Florida quarterback John Brantley three times, and C.J. Mosley returned one of those interceptions 35 yards for a score to make it 31-6 with 6:40 left in the third.

Alabama also intercepted freshman Trey Burton's lone pass attempt, as Nico Johnson picked off his jump pass in the end zone on fourth-and-goal from the 2 late in the first quarter.

Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram gained only 46 yards on 12 carries, but he scored rushing touchdowns of 1 and 6 yards in the second quarter. Trent Richardson led Alabama with 64 rushing yards on 10 carries.

Crimson Tide receiver Marquis Maze threw the game's only touchdown pass from the wildcat formation, hitting tight end Michael Williams for a 19-yard score.

Jeff Demps rushed for 46 yards on 11 carries for Florida (4-1, 2-1 SEC), and Brantley threw for 202 yards on 16-of-31 passing.
